We are paediatricians who plan to undertake research in Africa with the aim of improving the treatment of infant who have severe malnutrition (called kwashiorkor) and are shocked. This condition currently has a high mortality of around 50%, and we hope to find ways to reduce this substantially. Currently we are fund-raising whilst preparing the study plans in detail.

We collect monthly duties(money) from members and other doners to fulfil our aims and objectives by supporting vulnerable members here in the UK and helping deplorable communities in Ghana on health, education and any sector demands charity.

Sending Medical equipment & Medical volunteers to Ghana to train & educate & work alongside in the target hospitals. Encourage exchange programmes between target hospitals in Ghana and link hospital(s) in UK where necessary.

FEW have sent containers to thirteen different countries full of surplus educational school furniture , playgrounds to some of the most desperate children in the world a better chance of an education. FEW have sent fire engines and in conjunction UNISON sent ambulances to the Gambia. FEW have been involved sinking bore holes in Uganda and the Gambia, so that the locals have clean water to drink.
