We provide a support network for families and carers to engage special needs support, health visitor liason and organisation of other professionals.

OPERATING A PRE-SCHOOL

To be a leading child care setting in which staff and parents are partners in providing the best possible care and learning experiences for all the children. To empower children to become confident, respectful and responsible young people who are able to reach their full potential.

The charity intends to make grants to support projects and research related to improving health services and patient care and will support NHS hospitals, primarily those that form the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and, most notably among them, the Romsey Hospital.

Advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination, including: - public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; - evangelism and mission, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; - giving and encouraging pastoral care; - supporting and encouraging charitable social action in the UK and abroad.

The work of the Sisters of Bethany has always been prayer for the Unity of the Church, hospitality and retreat work. Whether residential or daily the retreat creates space both individually or in groups to stand back from their daily lives and be with God in a quiet and prayerful atmosphere.We have a Novena each year for more Vocations to the Religous Life and intercede every Thursday for Unity.

WBCT is an organisation working in partnership with residents, local authorities and other community organisations to enhance the growing community. We will create and manage events and places for people that support active, healthy lifestyles promoting pride of place.

Communicare in Southampton is a community care group with volunteers, many from local churches, that works on behalf of the whole community in Southampton. It complements the help available to deprived people by visiting and befriending the lonely,elderly and those with mental health issues, shopping for/with clients, carrying out simple DIY tasks, helping with childcare and providing transport.

Basingstoke Mencap works for the relief of people with learning disabilities in particular by the provision of help and support for them and their families, dependents and carers.The society also provides or assists in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for people who have a learning disability.

CPRE Hampshire fights for a better future for the countryside. It works county wide and locally to protect, shape and enhance the beautiful, thriving countryside for everyone to value and enjoy. It campaigns on countryside issues, engages locally and strategically, responds to planning applications which effect the countryside and influences local authorities and bodies.

Caring, stimulating, quality childcare for children aged 2 years up to Reception age. Our aim is to enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age, in a parent-involving community-based group, to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment, and to work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

Religious activities

Oakwood Community Playgroup provides high quality,fun & affordable pre-school education for children from 2 years to school age. We aim to provide 'learning through play' with a dedicated team of long term staff and welcome the whole community.We offer all day care facilities within the two rooms of our nursery unit and have excellent outdoor facilities within the grounds of Oakwood Infant School.
