The Worthys Jubilee Hall provides a local community centre primarily but not restricted to the benefit of the Worthy villages. It is used regularly by voluntary and professional organisations to provide a range of recreational and leisure activities, including the performing arts, cultural, health and fitness activities. It is also available for the use and benefit of individuals.

Raising and donating money mainly for local good causes

We are a music promotion society.

The Friends of St Thomas Church activities include raising funds to support the Parochial Church Council in relation to maintenance of the buildings, fabric and surrounding churchyard.

To award scholarships and development grants to stimulate, encourage and reward excellence amongst 6th Form students at Alton College, Hampshire. To provide equipment for Alton College that can not be funded by Government.

To advance the musical education of students at schools and colleges in the Southampton region by providing facilities and funds for the Southampton Youth Orchestras which are not normally provided by Southampton City Council.

Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

Visiting Speakers address our membership on various educational topics to inform, entertain and stimulate a spirit of enquiry. Havant U3A has over 30 self-help learning groups covering a wide range of subjects offering members the chance to share the knowledge acquired during their lives or try something completely new.

To help and educate boys and girls through their leisure time and activities so to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities.

We provide extra trips and equipment for the school by raising money from holding fetes, cake stalls, quiz nights and bonfire night etc.

Fundraising to enhance school facilities.

The aim and object of the charity is to further the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Basingstoke.

To manage the Deverell Hall and the facilities it provides for the use and benefit of the residents of Purbrook and its surroundings regardless of religious belief.

Enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training - crafts, practical skills, education, sport, outdoor pursuits (e.g. camps, canoeing, caving) for girls and boys aged between 7 and 13 years of age

The scout group was registered as a charity in October 1992, number 1014638. It's governing document is the Scouts Royal Charter.Objectives are to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical intellectual social and spiritual potentials as individuals as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities.

Shirley Junior School PTFA actively organises fundraising events (several jointly with Shirley Infant School), including a fireworks display, colour run, quiz & curry night, school disco, cake sales and a big summer fair. Non-uniform day, break the rules day and crazy hair day are also organised to provide fun for the children while raising funds for the school.
