We encourage parents to develop their children's needs by attendance at the drop in centre. Play facilities (music, drawing, story telling etc.) are professionally provided. Parents are encouraged to volunteer (unpaid) to open, cook lunch and close the centre, to join the committee as safety officer, first aid officer and fundraiser. All are welcome regardless of race,means, culture or religion.

The Friends of South Harringay encourages parents to become involved in their children's education, fundraises to provide goods and/or services to support the school and advance the education of the pupils, organises social events for parents and pupils to foster the school community, develops links with the local community and ensures parents views are represented.

Unite to Ignite, unites adult women of all ages for the purposes of female empowerment, social cohesion and the promotion of wellbeing. We provide recreational activities, peer support groups, social networks, mentoring, workshops and rejuvenating excursions. North London Sports Academy is currently providing football, basketball, athletics and swimming sessions in Hackney and Islington. Youngest age is 5 to 18 year old. We also provide sporting tours in UK and abroad, and sporting events.
