As a community-driven charity in Brent, we empower residents by providing support in childcare, employment, mental health, and social development. Through holiday camps and training programmes, we help individuals gain confidence, develop skills, and secure opportunities. Our mission is to foster resilience, inclusion, and long-term stability for a thriving community.

We raise funds through a variety of activities, usually at or near St Johns Church of England Scool, Stanmore. All funds raised are expressly for donating to the school to support projects and initiatives that directly benefit the students.

Harrow Harmony offers its members an environment in which they can develop their vocal technique and musical repertoire within a social context. They present three public concerts a year that provide exciting varied and challenging content for both members and their audience. Harrow Harmony aims to keep membership fees and concert ticket prices at a level commensurate with running costs

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Harrow Weald Scout Group give young people of Harrow the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

We support young acoustic musicians with educational and early career opportunities by way of awarding grants to music institutions and community groups and individuals and running guitar workshops and facilitating training and distributing transcriptions of music

St Teresa's School Parents and Friends Association engage in activities and/or provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance and facilitate the education of the pupils. It is also our aim to develop effective relationships between the staff and the families associated with the school.

To further the work of the Church in Hertfordshire by the ringing of bells and to promote all aspects of bells and bellringing. To encourage the recruitment and training of bellringers and to advance the art of change ringing.

Working with local boroughs to safeguard Brent River Park and improve public access. Opposing planning applications likely to impact on the park. Arrange occasional working parties to clear undergrowth and refuse from specific areas. Help in saving and preserving buildings of character. Provide information and publicise events such as meetings and walks.

Our PTA works with our school, parents, pupils and the local community to put on a range of events and activities, such as the summer and winter fairs, pre-loved uniform, bake and book sales. These help to build the school community, break down barriers and help fundraise. We use our funds to purchase a range of goods and services that help advance the education of pupils at our school.

We provide skill training in health care and IT for the over 50s BME & medical advice, support and care work for the disadvantaged.

District Membership of U3A (Kenton Branch) supplying adult education to the retired. This includes forming interest groups who study languages, literature, art, family history and other special interests run by its members and lectures from invited speakers.It also runs recreational activities e.g Current Affairs, Cookery, Theatre Visits.

We hold adventurous activities for children of all ages. We have Troops for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We offer exciting challenges to the young people, including learning new skills, linking with other groups, camping and adventure breaks.

The provision of financial assistance by way of grants to church authorities incurring expenditure on the provision, maintenance or improvement of their bells and bell installations or for the maintenance of the fabric of their towers and belfries in the County of Hertfordshire and the ecclesiastical parishes of Chipping Barnet, Monken Hadley, and Great Stanmore

Our activities mostly connected with regular meditation, reading and observing "special days" when we have longer sessions. "Special days" ie birthdays of Sri Aurobindo & The Mother sidhi (day of realisation) day, Mahapryan (when both left their bodies) days etc. We have visits from the main centre in Pondicherry, India, when we hold special meetings. Last year we held an exhibition at The Nehru C

Education on Jainism through monthly musical evenings called Sweet Harmony, ritual events, Little Jain for little kids and annual convention to reach young members and explain the tenets of Jainism.

In line with the general aims of the Sea Cadet Corps, Ruislip Sea Cadets aim to provide the opportunity to young people to participate in a range of activities based on a nautical theme. Youngsters have a chance to participate in team activities and to skill themselves in water-borne proficiencies, while learning the importance of discipline, self presentation and caring for others.

The Yiewsley and West Drayton Brass Band is a community band based in the London Borough of Hillingdon, West London. The band provides musical services to local organisation in and around the local area with live performances of arrangements and original music for Brass Bands. The band also provides brass instrument tuition for people of all ages through its training band.
