We are a friendly, motivated and progressive brass band. We have a flexible approach to membership and welcome players of varying ages and abilities. We have a training band, offering free tuition and instruments loan. Hartlepool Ambulance Charity fundraises to enable the recruiting and retention of volunteers educating and training in First Aid and Advanced Medical procedures use of equipment and practices for the relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good health in Hartlepool and the surrounding area by the provision of trained First Response Volunteers able to attend medical emergencies.

Support the development of life skills and enhance development opportunites for the 11-19 year age in the Durham Tees valley area including advancing education, relieving unemployment and providing recreational leisure time activities in the interests of social welfare.Provide schloarships to deprived students overseas to enable them to study in the UK.Alleviate poverty in 3rd world countries.

Provision of scouting activities

The provision of small financial grants and other non-finanical assistance to local community based Non-Masonic deserving organisations to enable and assist the provision of non admistrative projects.

DCSRA promotes the playing of squash and squash57 throughout Durham and Cleveland by organising coaching, running competitions such as County Championships (Seniors, Masters and Junior) and County Leagues and providing information and advice to venues with squash courts on how to maximise their use.

To provide and maintain the building for the use of the public, groups and local residents for activities in the social, educational and recreational fields. Provide equipment as required for the use of the above.

As a registered charity we help families with children with cardiac heart defects. we help families financially by helping them with their house hold bills, shopping ect. while their in hospital with their child/children, we also visit hospitals throughout the year bringing gifts to the children, parents and nurses.

Our mission remains that of enabling children and young people to develop emotionally,physically ,socially and educationally by taking part in a range of activities at Carlton Outdoor Education Centre. In particular we are dedicated to helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

This is promoted by encouraging and developing the principles and practicalities of Christian Unity throughout the region and encouraging the churches to engage with their communities through social action

Encourage all amateur musicians, particularly youth. Create a welcoming environment, striving for individual and collective music improvement. Improve and maintain links with the local community and local bodies, through production of a concert programme. To advance the education of the public in the understanding and appreciation of the arts, in particular opera, theatre and music.

A Charity to support people in the Hartlepool area who have Multiple Sclerosis. We provide advice and information, complementary therapy and counselling if required, a monthly newsletter and social outings. We are providing to members a specialised hospital passport for use in emergency admissions.

To manage and maintain Roseby Road Wellbeing Centre in Horden providing services and activities including health, education, social welfare, recreation and leisure to improve health and wellbeing of the local population.
