To raise money through various events held at The Steiner Academy Hereford to support the charities aims. These include class fundraisers such as cake stalls, a summer fair, cabaret etc and whole school events such as a summer Garden Festival and Advent Fair. We also support our school community by providing informative talks and practical support where needed.

Youth work within Worcestershire and Herefordshire

Barn Owl Conservation. Barn Owl & bird of prey rescue, rehabilitation and welfare. Educating the general public, schools, young conservationists etc in the life and conservation of owls and birds of prey through visits, talks and flying activites.

Non Profit making Registered Nursery providing reasonably priced preschool education to children aged from 2 years to school age who live in the area of Ross on Wye and District. Established in 1970 and run by caring and experienced people.

We offer religious services as a parish church of the Church of England as well as community support and pastoral care to parishioners of St Martin's Hereford. We serve the whole community, and have specific services to support the elderly, the marginalised, the bereaved and families and children. Our property is used by groups from across the community.

The provision of a locally based, confidential, reliable and affordable therapy service, with a fast transition from referral to assessment and allocated therapist. The service works to BACP professional standards and provides a sign-posting service to local agencies for those who contact the service, but for whom counselling is inappropriate.

Religious

The Society organises a range of arts events, including plays, films, music (from classics to pop) and live screenings of drama, opera and ballet; the Society owns, manages and operates the 128-seat Market Theatre in Ledbury. The Society relies on ticket sales, membership subscriptions and hiring fees to cover costs.

Colwall Orchard Trust restores, promotes and celebrates traditional orchards. It brings together volunteers to: plant and maintain community orchards; run public seasonal events; monitor and improve the biodiversity and condition of local orchards; run training courses and school visits; make juice and produce to raise funds; share information and advocate the importance of traditional orchards.

Hay and District Dial-a-Ride provides community transport services for members in a 9 mile radius of Hay-on-Wye who are need of such a service. All of our drivers are volunteers and we own two vehicles: an 11 seater minibus and a 5 seater MPV. We also operate a Community Car Scheme to enable individual members to book longer specific journeys.

TO BENEFIT THE INHABITANTS OF HINTON AND NEIGHBOURHOOD, BY ADVANCING EDUCATION, PROVIDING FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME, WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING CONDITIONS FOR THE INHABITANTS .OF THE AREA.ESTABLISHING, MAINTAINING AND MANAGING A COMMUNITY CENTRE. We re-home (mainly) dogs and cats. They are neutered if old enough.All the dogs and cats are vaccinated, microchipped, flead, wormed and any other medical attention as required by the vets. A team of volunteers do home visits before the animals are adopted. Veterinary references, or a home check from an animal rescue local to the adopter, are required where animals are homed out of our area.

Recruit more choristers especially young people. To continue to expand our repertoire. Give schools and other young people the opportunity of performing with us. Give our experienced musicians the opportunity to continue their skills .To support charitable causes. Rehersals at Cwmbach Junior School, Llangorse Road, Cwmbach, on Monday and some Thursday 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

Receive donations from over 91 Lions Clubs in South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, parts of Wiltshire and Somerset and distribute the funds for Local, National and International charitable purposes.

To encourage interest in Hereford Cathedral and to supplement available resources for maintenance of its fabric and furnishings and for improvement and beautification of the cathedral and its precincts, including education and music.

We provide the opportunity for members to take part in musical theatre productions either on or off stage, thus bringing high quality, affordable shows to the public in and around Hereford. We run a successful Youth section, which performs its own shows and also offers the opportunity for its members to participate in main company shows, when there are suitable parts (e.g. "Annie"; "Oliver!")

Leominster Food Bank operates from premises behind the Priory Church in Leominster. We offer food, and other essential items, to anyone experiencing food poverty, via referrals from other agencies, such as the Job Centre, Social Services, etc. We also offer a Food Share service of surplus items from shops and supermarkets. This is available to anyone - no referral needed.

OUR PRIME FUNCTION IS TO RAISE FUNDS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND COMMUNITY HELP LOCALLY AND WORLDWIDE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE IN NEED.

For preserving buildings, structures or sites of historic interest, architectural merit or amenity value and where possible finding suitable uses for them.

Provision of food parcels for people in crisis, and debt and money advice to people in need, in Bromyard and the surrounding area in Herefordshire.

To provide community transport using volunteer drivers both by car and minibus to those who do not have access to public transport or their own vehicle. The area covered is the town of Tenbury Wells and the surrounding Teme Valley.

The purpose is the provision of gardening sessions ( led by tutors) as a form of therapy for all age groups in all circumstances. Our beneficiaries enjoy being part of social groups and the opportunity to get involved in growing plants, harvesting produce and exhibiting at our Autumn Show. There are also social events including a BBQ.

We provide formal training in the art of Bharatanatyam, Indian classical dance, to young people and adults in the community through accredited courses leading to professional qualifications in dance. We also undertake dance-in-education workshops in the formal sector to early years, primary and secondary schools. We annually stage a major dance event for students to celebrate their learning.
