Bromyard Bowmen provides, both indoor and outdoor, facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bromyard and surrounding areas enabling them to take part in Archery. Courses in Archery are held each year for beginners, schools, youth organisations and organisations caring for mentally and physically disabled adults and children, as well as socially disadvantaged children.

The object of the Society shall be for the benefit of the public to promote and improve agriculture.Hold an Annual Ploughing Match together with Sheep Dog Trials & Produce Tent to further rural activities in the countryside.

Publish books & CDs giving pomological advice. Encourage local primary school children to use a recently acquired site-a-gift for environmental educational purposes. Attend shows to disseminate information and give talks to various groups.

Provision and maintenance of village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Vowchurch & Turnastone for meetings, lecturesclasses and other form of recreational purposes.

The Charity provides pleasant modern facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen and refurbished toilets, for the local and wider community to use and enjoy. The hall has three separate rooms of varying sizes. There is ample flat parking, easy access and 1/3 acre lawn.

The objectives of the Ludlow & District Beekeepers Association are to advance and promote the craft of beekeeping and good beekeeping practises and to raise awareness and educate the general public about the importance of bees and beekeeping to the environment. The Association provides training to beekeepers. Members live in and around the Ludlow area.

The Friends of St. James' Church, Wigmore is a charitable organisation whose purpose is:- to promote increased use of the church building and grounds by Wigmore residents and visitors;- to encourage and promote the understanding of the heritage of the area;- to improve the information available about the building and add value to the visitor experience.

Grants to organisations

All our activities focus on the advancement of education and promotion of exercise, diet and leading a healthy lifestyle. These activities are designed to create interest in the playing of association football and encourage the development of young players by inspiring, exciting and educating children and young people.

We promote live classical music in Worcester and surrounds by presenting at least six concerts and one workshop during the season which lasts between September and March each year. We offer performance opportunities to young professional musicians and we especially look for artists with local connections.

Own, manage, and run a village hall for the benefit of the residents of Brilley and Michaelchurch parish

Education of the public in the historic landscapes and gardens in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Assisting owners of such landscapes with advice on maintenance and restoration. Research and publications in historic landscape.

The village hall provides a refurbished premise for local community use and hire. Our local organisations which includes the WI, short mat bowling, keep fit,book club , yoga, quilters,dowsing group and reading group, amateur dramatics and village lunches etc meet regularly on a weekly or monthly basis. Occasionally parties and funeral/ anniversary teas are catered for.
