Holding fundraising events to provide extra facilities/ resources for primary school Providing closer links between parents and the school

Friends of Canon Pyon School hold many kinds of fundraising events throughout the school year. E.G. Christmas/Summer fayres, bingo, quiz night, pamper nights, sponsored activities and many more.

Hire of the Village hall to various organisations, i.e. photography club, calligraphy club, Pony club, art classes, parish and church meetings.Regular Bingo, and coffee mornings and lunches for charities, i.e. MacMillan Nurses

To give grants to young people and schools to assist with purchase of books and equipment etc. in the parishes of Peterchurch and Clifford, Herefordshire only.

Fund raising events are carried out to fund equipment and resources to assist children in the Special Needs Resource Base at Overmonnow Primary School in Monmouth. Funds are raised through Silent Auctions, Bag2School, Table Top Sales. Donations are made by individuals, local businesses.

The charity's sole purpose is to raise funds towards the provision,equiping and running of a village hall in the village of Sutton St Nicholas, Herefordshire, for use by the public for various recreational, educational and leisure activities in co-operation with the Sutton St Nicholas Parish Council. The Hall is now built and in full use by the community.

Provides facilities for meetings and other events for local people in the village of Pudleston and for hire to others in the local area.

Raising funds for the preservation, restoration, improvement and development of the church buildings, fabric, fittings, stained glass, ornaments, monuments and all other chattels in and belonging to the church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ross-on-Wye and its churchyard, and all additions thereto.

THE CHARITY'S MAIN ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF SUMMER, EASTER AND CHRISTMAS FAYRES, REFRESHMENT EVENTS, SELLING CHILDREN'S ART ITEMS, ETC AIMED AT RAISING FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF ST MARY'S PRIMARY SCHOOL IN FOWNHOPE AND ENCOURAGING A POSITIVE SCHOOL COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL BONDING.

Offers advice, help and support to Societies/Clubs who are interested in all aspects of gardening and horticulture.Trains novice Judges and provides on going training for existing Judges of Horticultural Shows.Provides grants to Schools and others running Gardening Projects.Gives prizes for School Gardening Competitions.

Fund raising by Freemasons for distribution to local, nationwide and worldwide charities as illustrated in the below classification.

Promoting the many aspects, techniques and styles of woodturning. The Club is open to all, regardless of age or turning experience, offering a diverse programme of professional demonstrator events and informal club nights where members can use the club lathes to try different tools and meet other turners in a safe supported environment. Archives West Midlands is an independent, strategic partnership of archive services which aims to maximise the benefits of working together in terms of shared projects and funding opportunities. We aim to promote the importance of archives; support members to achieve accreditation and workforce development; explore a regional solution for digital preservation; develop a volunteer strategy.
