Providing a Christian youth club for the Garway, Herefordshire area

Small donations within our budget are given annually to people deemed to be in need or have encountered difficult problems eg: bereavement, illness or poverty. In most cases these donations are given in cash so that the person concerned can utilise the gift in our village shop thus not necessitating travelling some distance by public transport (minimum return of 14 miles).

This charity is a school PTA raising funds to enhance the lives of around 60 children and their families/community in a rural area of Herefordshire.

We provide financial help and other support to Scouts in Ghana. We have visited and worked on projects in the past and hope to return in the future.

We aim to create an environment where young people aged 8-18 can reach their full potential whatever their circumstances. We provide a balanced programme of activities that develops the whole person in an environment of social interaction and team working, using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal and Merchant Navies.

Provides funds for any parish project which benefits the majority of parishioners.

We provide small grants to individuals and groups for educational purposes. Applicants must reside in the parish of Dorstone in Herefordshire in order to qualify for grant funding.

Support young people financially with costs incured in further education up to and including the age of twenty-three years. Applicants must live in the Parish of Eardisland or have done so with in the last two years.

Support for Coronation Hall and Recreation Ground

Raises funds to assist with projects within the school - all monies go to buy new equipment,contribute to trips etc for the school children.

Open Meetings annually feature health and social care issues, public engagement, activities for the disabled, mental health and carer's concerns.HDU engaged with Hereford Council Making it Real Board and Autism Partnership Board to feedback information on disability as champions in this area.In September the chair joined a team as an expert by experience for Peer Challenge at Hereford Council.

Kington Lions raises funds from local benefactors and distributes those funds by way of grants to local needy and good causes.

We exist to fund the maintenance of Withington Church Bells and promote their use through teaching and training of bell ringing skills and customs.

No activities except to distribute small monetary gifts to nominated persons in need.

Our sole income from one piece of ground is distributed to selected parishoners at times of berievement and at Christmas.

SHARE is a free at the point of use counselling service for young people between the ages of eleven and twenty five who would like to talk to a trained counsellor.
