We provide the opportunity for senior citizens of Stevenage and surrounding villages to regularly take part in our day care sessions. Activities are aimed to provide a continued feeling of well-being and prevent loneliness and isolation. Refreshments and a mid-day meal form part of their day. In the time our clients are with us, we are also providing their carer's with a much appreciated break.

Pre-School, catering for families with children from birth to Nursery entry.

The Gifted uses interactive workshops and podcasting to raise the aspirations of children and young people by improving their knowledge, communication skills and building their confidence.The Gifted works with children, young people and families, particularly disadvantaged/vulnerable to educate and empower them, improve their resilience, confidence, sense of purpose, skills and employability.

Regular public services of Christian worship, including activities for youngsters, small groups in homes and church. Parents/carers toddler group and parents/carers baby group each week. Coffee mornings two days a week. Facilities are used by other charities and community groups in the town.

Gadebridge Community Centre provides 6 halls/rooms of varying sizes for many activities. A Creche (0 - 2 years) and Preschool (2 - 5 years) is available 50 weeks per year 07:30hrs to 18:00hrs Monday to Friday. A wide range of activities are enjoyed by all age, charity and community groups and we play an active part of being at the Centre of Gadebridge Community. Staff/Trustees are DBS reg'd

Village Halls status, for local use by local organisations. Dance Classes, drama groups, U3A, Bowls groups, Art Classes, toddler groups also used by the RVS for Luncheon Club. Hire for book club and Educational talks and lectures, H&S courses. Also available for letting for family parties, dances and fund raising activities.

The charities principal objective is to operate the Mosque and related premises for cultural, social and religious development and the education of the community.

BENEFIT YOUNG PERSONS RECENTLY SET UP IN BUSINESS BY GRANTING LOANS AT A LOW RATE OF INTEREST.

To educate the public in the arts and sciences, and in particular the art and science of music in the presentation of concerts and other activities. We are a non-auditioning choir based in Berkhamsted, Herts, that rehearses weekly throughout the year, and gives three or more concerts annually

Sessional Preschool

The Charity offers pre-school education to children aged 2-5 years.

Sunday Church services at Wormley Community Centre are open to all with children's activities provided. Tuesday Drop In provides a warm space, lunch and a chance to socialise. Wednesday Parents and Toddlers is open to the local community. We are a weekday distribution point for the local Foodbank. A member of the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion, Evangelical Alliance, and Churches Together.

Residential outdoor and activitry centre

HFWI provides services and support to WIs in HertfordshireActivities are organised during the year to provide educational opportunities for members to learn and improve their knowledge and skills

The Haileybury Society exists to assist and promote educational objects in connection with Haileybury and to form a strong bond of union between the School and its former pupils.

We run these non-medical rehab groups:2 social and Rehab sessions, 1 for under 65s one for anyone having had a Stroke or carer. These sessions work on building confidence and concentration ,a speech and language course for members with dyspasia; and 2 weekly chair based exercise classes.We also have monthly outings in the community. We also offer home visits to assess needs.

. We operate a Foodbank which provides food and support to people in crisis in Potters Bar and surrounding areas. We work with care professionals and over 20 local agencies such as Hertsmere Council and Citizens Advice Bereuau who assess clients and provide them with foodbank vouchers. We also provide education and training in various areas to enrich community development for children and adults

Taking religious assemblies in schools, such as Dewhurst St Mary Primary School and St Mary's High School and other Cheshunt schools. Church Youth Club. Toddlers' Group. Supporting Mothers' Union. Provision of meeting room for local groups.

The Charity's main objectives are: ? To provide assistance to individuals who are suicidal, in despair or in distress in order to reduce the incidence of suicide. ? To advance education by providing society with a better understanding of suicide, suicidal behaviour and the value of expressing feelings that may lead to suicide.

Church of England (Anglican) Church serving the people of Rye Park Parish.

Provides care and education for children 2 years - school age, inspected by Ofsted. The preschool is open every morning in term time, with the option of an early bird start and a daily lunch club. There are also afternoon sessions available Monday to Thursday.

We provide a facility which used by the local community for a whole range of activities, from nursery groups, youth dance and drama, sports activities, keep fit, over fifties club and help for the elderly and infirm.
