THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LOCAL INHABITANTS BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING FOOTBALL

The object of the of the charity is the "promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket". The club welcomes adults and juniors of all abilities and gender from the whole of the local and surrounding community. The club provides coaching, 2 pitches, 3 lane nets and a clubhouse at our home in Knebworth Park.

Produce amateur plays, musicals, pantomimes etc. for public performance.Run workshops for junior members dealing with theatrical and related subjects.Advise local council of artistic needs of local area.Support other charities with donations.

The charity manages the Almshouses at Tring, and applies income for repairs and for the benefit of the Almspeople

We give grants, not exceeding 5000, to local and national charitable organisations supporting young people to help them get a proper start in life, for example by facilitating technical training. We also support charities helping the physically handicapped, those who are severely deaf and blind, hospice-care for the terminally ill, and nature conservancy.

Community choir performing major choral works to a high standard and running singing workshops. Membership of approx 90 singers is drawn from a wide geographical area covering Essex, Hertfordshire, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Main concert venues are Saffron Hall and St Mary's Church, Saffron Walden. The choir has close links with local schools, regularly sharing concerts.

Fowlmere Playgroup is a not for profit community group offering a secure, happy and stimulating environment for pre-school children aged 2 years to school age. We offer a full and varied curriculum tailored to allow children to fulfill their potential at their own pace, leading to nationally approved learning goals.

RVHMC run a community building, providing the facilities for a wide range of events and activities for the benefit and to improve the lives of residents of all ages, without discrimination. RVH is used for: classes; meetings & talks; events & shows; exhibitions; social gatherings; parties; private hire. Base for many local organisations, including the charity The Redbourn Community Group.

Owner of a hostel which provides basic accommodation for relieving homelessness in North Hertfordshire.Acts as a hub and donates funds to support the work of other charities involved in supporting the homeless in Hertfordshire.

Scouting Activities - life skills programme along with canoeing, camping, walking, mountaineering, overseas adventures

The Group supports the local NHS by providing a free delivery service for blood products, patient samples, human donor milk, medical equipment and prescription drugs.

Provides educational opportunities for people of retirement age and beyond in the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield areas
