Various activities and events to raise funds to support the School.

The aim of the Hall is to provide a place for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of leisure and recreation activities in order to improve the life of the inhabitants of Pirton and its neighbourhood. All of this is to be provided regardless of political, religious or other opinions.

Provision of Almshouse Accomodation for the elderly

We provide a Christian schoolsworker to the local secondary schools in the Letchworth & Baldock area at no cost to schools engaged in lesson support, lunchtime clubs and taking assemblies.

Village Hall for use by local groups, mainly young people; playgroup,youth club,stage school.

The Wheatfields PTA raises money primarily for the benefit of the Wheatfields Junior school.The PTA organises fund raising events such as a summer fair and an xmas morning amongst others. Funds go towards school resources and equipment, where a need is highlighted by the head or the staff.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation through the provision, maintenance and improvement of facilities for but not limited to cricket, tennis, hockey and squash for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bishop Stortford and the surrounding area.

We provide a clean safe community centre, with disable access, a disabled toilet complete with baby changing facility, and an adjoining open field containing a youth shelter, basketball net, a football practice wall, a football pitch, cricket square, and two tennis courts with floodlights, which are available for use by all sectors of the community.

The objectives of the charity are to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Africa and to assist in the relief of suffering of persons in need. These objectives are achieved by means of television broadcast, Christian meetings, seminars, conventions, crusades, Education training, Accommodation / Housing, audio and visual material, etc

Provision and maintenance of a rescue home for cats in need of care and attention. The charity provides veterinary aid, food and shelter to cats and re-homes them responsibly with new owners.

The activities of 4th Letchworth Scout Group are as a unit of the scout association. The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

INDEPENDENT MUSEUM COVERING THE HISTORY OF WARE AND ITS SURRROUNDINGS. REGULARLY CHANGING PROGRAMME OF TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES DURING MOST SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. VISITS FOR SCHOOLS.

Girl Guiding: Rainbows, Brownies and Girl Guides

The Welbeloved Club arranges a full Sunday lunch once a month for elderly people who are lonely and / orsocially isolated. About a hundred people come to Sawbridgeworth Memorial Hall, Herts (or are driven there and back as necessary) where the lunch is cooked, served and cleared away by volunteers. This facilitates social interaction in a comforting environment.

The charity continues to hold religious services for the local congregation. There are weekly classes to teach Punjabi language and Sikh religion to children. The local schools visit the charity premises to observe the Sikh way of worship and living. The charity supports local and international charities.

Our objects are as a voluntary services organisation for the public benefit in particular charitable fundraising and Providing grants in support of local national and international charity and reliefVocational community and youth services including education ,raising awareness and other such charitable purposes as the club shall in duly constituted meetings direct from time to time.

Operation and management of a village hall.

Environmental education and hands-on activities for school and youth groups; sessions are led by an experienced teacher.We work with other charities and organisations on specific projects on the nature reserve in which young people can learn basic skills in nature conservation, work collaboratively and enjoy working outdoors.

Fund raising for the school including annual Summer and Christmas Fairs. One off events such as Quiz Nights, Promises Auction, Shopping Nights, School Discos, BBQs etc. We also raise money through after school cake sales, chirstmas cards etc.

Hire of hall to clubs, Societies and the general public

Within our local area (Apsley) we provide a community building for many different sectionsof society to use & take part in various activities be it Elderly Persons Social Club, Sport, Education or Recreational.ACA also hold a fortnightly Tea Dance approximately 22/23 per year, other fund raising events may occur
