Duncombe School PA operates to further the education and well being of the children at the school. It provides facilities and equipment to support their learning and recreation under the guidance of the school.

To maintain the Spencer Hall building it's contents and facilities for use by Sandridge Cricket Club, Sandridge Rovers Football Club, Sandridge Youth Club and the local community. Regular hirers include an after school and holiday club, a line dance class, and a children's music class. The hall holds approximately 120 people seated and is available for hire for weddings, parties etc.

Women's chorus singing and performing in a cappella/barbershop style for both charities, and general public, also providing powerpoint talks illustrated with live singing to explain the genre. Also run courses for new singers interested in this type of singing. Meet weekly on Tuesday evenings in Welwyn Garden City. More info at www.welwynharmony.co.uk

Main activity is fundraising for school projects.Anual events include the Christmas Bazaar, Summer BBQ, School Disco's.

Organising an annual Folk Festival in Kimpton in July;Maintaining Folk Sessions each month in Kimpton and Wheathampstead;Organising 50-minute 'Pop-Up' concerts in Kimpton during autumn and winter to further generate interest in folk music;Launching an outreach programme to foster increased interesting and understanding of folk music in local schools.

The charity raised money to enhance the provision and experience of education whilst part of Howe Dell School, Howe Dell Day Care or whilst registered to use the facilities at Howe Dell Family Centre.

Raise funds for use at Cunningham Hill Infant School

We are fully trained volunteers from local churches in Bishops Stortford and Sawbridgeworth who care about our community. We visit the town centre , usually on Friday or Saturday nights, in teams of men and women, aiming to care for, listen to, and help people who are out and about in our town, especially those who are vulnerable or at risk of harm.

The object of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school, in particular by:1. Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

The PSA committee meets on a termly basis and occasionally more often to discuss fundraising and spending . Termly meetings are also held for all members. In addition regular newsletters are distributed to keep members updated. The aim to advance the education of pupils through the provision of facillities and equipment arising from activities including Fairs, Social Evenings, Auctions, Cake sale.
