Scout Group (Youth Activities)

Sport-ED empowers underprivileged youth in Slough and surrounding area through sports, education, and community engagement. Activities include a weekend school, homework clubs, 7 team football club, cricket, Box-Fit, martial arts, and girls-only sports. We also run health workshops, community safety programs, CV clinics, and enrichment trips, promoting confidence, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

Acorn Youth and Social Club, the operating name of the charity, aims to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for people, resident in or near Hillingdon, with learning disabilities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

To promote, maintain and advance public education in such charitable ways as the trustees see fit including the engagement and encouragement of arts and crafts including visual arts, performing arts, written arts and design arts.

We provide a place to meet and socialise for local people also some of the groups that meet are:- pre-school playgroup; baby/toddlers; junior club; senior citizens club; line dancing; exercise; ballet & tap classes; banjo band; disabled club; bingo; tumbletots; church service social club.

Hillingdon Shopmobility provides powered and manual wheelchairs and powered scooters to anyone with limited mobility, enabling them to access the leisure and shopping facilities in Uxbridge Town Centre with complete ease and independence.Available to young and old alike, whether their disability is temporary or permanent.

Monies are raised for the Association through fund raising events, many of which were occasions when parents, pupils and staff could come together socially. For example a Summer Fayre, a Christmas Fayre, a firework display, a general knowledge quiz, a golf day, several second hand uniform sales, and cake and chocolate sales.

We fundraise for the school to provide extra facilities and equipment for the children. We do this in the form of Summer and Christmas Fayres and social events which are usually held within the school.

The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Aspire Powerchair Sports Club was established in 2002. It was set-up to enable young people who use powered wheelchairs the opportunity to play football.Aspire Powerchair Sports Club provide sporting opportunities through powerchair football. There are opportunities at every level from recreational right to the top.

To advance the education of the public in the musical and operatic arts. To further the development of the public appreciation and taste in said arts. To promote operetta & musicals in furtherance of the arts.

London Kalibari organises for all, but mainly for the members of the Indian Bengalee community, activities such as Senior Citizens' Luncheon Club, Women/Widows' Group, Yoga Classes, Music and Dance Classes, regular worship of Goddess Kali and other Hindu deities and the annual Diwali/Kalipuja on a larger scale. It also organises discussion and singing, based on religious and philosophical texts.

To bring together various groups and peoples in the local area of Hayes, Middlesex with particular emphasis on helping housebound and disabled persons.

Education and vocational training of the underprivileged, empowering women and providing medical aid support to the poor in Pakistan.

To secure and facilitate a community building and to work with partners both statutory and non statutory to provide facilities for the members of the North Hayes community regardless of their personal attributes or beliefs to provide and promote educational, leisure and recreational activities.

Pinner Park PTA has two main objectives: - To promote relationships between the staff, parents and others to do with the school; - To engage in activities or provide facilities or equipment which support the school financially or otherwise, and advance the education of our children.

Daytime and Eveningtime activities such as: Keep Fit for over 50's, Yoga, Tennis, Table Tennis, Short Mat Bowls, Rambling, Badminton, Line Dancing: Scrabble, Bridge, Whist, German Conversation: Ploughman Lunches, Quiz Suppers held in three local church premises.

Fund raising for Coteford Infant School children through the use of fun events and activities within the school community.
