MAIHAN ASSOCIATION PROMOTES SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN NORTH WEST LONDON WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, CULTURE AND BELIEF (IN PARTICULAR, MEMBERS OF THE AFGHAN COMMUNITY) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO BRITISH SOCIETY.

Scouting

The Yiewsley and West Drayton Brass Band is a community band based in the London Borough of Hillingdon, West London. The band provides musical services to local organisation in and around the local area with live performances of arrangements and original music for Brass Bands. The band also provides brass instrument tuition for people of all ages through its training band.

THE STUDY AND PERFORMANCE OF CHORAL MUSIC IN ORDER TO FOSTER PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF SUCH MUSIC BY MEANS OF GIVING CONCERTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Activities include sport and or physical activity and training relating to it's delivery.

Advance the education of pupils within St Raphaels Catholic Primary School (Northolt) by:1) developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school2) engaging in activities or providing facilities which support the school. Acheived through the organisation of various social events throughout the year-Christmas Disco, Bingo Night, Summer Fete and Raffle

Promoting improvement in the standard of driving by preparing candidates to take the IAM advanced driving test. Holding monthly indoor meetings (in locations across the area on motoring related topics.

Providing social and recreational activities and welfare assistance to the over 60's

Fundraising for the school

This charity is a small spiritualist church where the congregation meets twice weekly. This includes Tueday afternoon and Sunday evening service. The usual annual income is about ?2800

Crane Youth and Community Association manages the community centre for local residents to use. We provide a wide range of activities at the Centre including educational classes, marital arts groups, keep fit classes , line dancing and an affordable summer play scheme.

Islamic support activities.

The objects of the charity are to provide care, upbringing and advancement of children and young people in the UK and internationally.

Friends of Grangewood Association raises funds to support and enhance the social and educational activities and opportunities of the pupils of Grangewood School. Grangewood is a school for primary age children with severe learning difficulties.

Provides funds to the school to buy equipment , fund trips and fund events

Running Saturday Supplementary School to give students extra education lessons.social gatherings meetings for community took place and WSCA participated in the local social events in the Borough. Football games, training and other activities for youths continued. The Association held few meetings with other communities in the Borough to share knowledge, experience and to strengthen relationship.

We are currently raising funds for local charities. These charities are nominated by our 300+ supporters and this year we have supported and raised funds for The MS Therapy Center, Harrow, The Family of the late Steve Walsh and ClicSargent. The MS Therapy Center and the Family of the late Steve Walsh are based in the Middx area and the branch of ClicSargent that we deal with is in Hammersmith.

We meet at St Martin's Church Hall, West Drayton, Middlesex at least eleven times each year a trusted place for all women of all generations, to share experiences and learn from each other.A WI membership offers the opportunity to make friends and make a difference in the communityand encourage interest in a wide range of issues and also life- long learning a

Fund raising events in and around the locality of the school including pupil discos, raffles and fetes.

The Trust donates monies to other charities who's activities have the support of the Trustees. It does not engage in charitable activities on its own.

The current activities of the "SHRI VISHWAKARMA SABHA (LONDON)" charity is to hold religious functions to teach the local Dhiman and Ramgharia followers of Shri Vishwakarma. While these functions bring the community together and the charity is also able to collect donations to help at a later stage build a sacred place of worship.
