Friends of Strand on the Green Schools raises funds from social events and activities run on school properties for its students, parents or staff to attend and participate in throughout the school year. Total funds raised are donated equally to the schools annually to purchase goods and services to advance the education of our students.

The association cater for the needs of voluntary groups in a diverse multicultural society, especially those which are disadvantaged in some way. The majority of user groups are, the under 5's, disabled people, older people, ethnic minorities and womens groups.

The objects of FACT are to advance the Christian Religion, in particular through the education of children and adults. FACT seeks to meet these objects by carrying out presentations for children and adults in pre-school settings; Consultation work with churches aiding work amongst children and families; The creation, production, demonstration and distribution of 'Time to Share at Home' boxes.

TWMAS works in conjunction with Crosslight Advice (charity no. 1163306) to provide advice to members of the public who are in debt from the TW postcode area. TWMAS is responsible for recruiting volunteers who work under the supervision of Crosslight Advice. TWMAS provides training and support for advisers and organises money advice courses for clients and for other members of the public.

We aim to increase children's understanding about how the body works and how different drugs affect the body. We deliver sessions in our classroom with their teacher for a programme designed to suit their age. We aim to raise children's self-esteem & confidence, & help them develop skills needed for building good relationships & for resisting peer pressure. New programmes are added regularly.

The BHSA raises funds by organising fairs, parent quiz nights, cake sales, a children's disco and other events.
