Aims to provide recreational/educational facilities for its members

Black Park Shed is located in Black Park, near Slough in Buckinghamshire. We operate a woodworking facility with the aim of reducing social exclusion in older adults by promoting the opportunity for friendships, social engagement and skillsharing in a safe and enjoyable environment. We also promote good health and wellbeing through participation and periodic circulation of health information.

Support relief of deprivation or disability by registered charities in LB of Merton and Hounslow, W Sussex in area between Worthing, Chichester and Horsham, and North Hampshire. Typical grant £1000 if making significant contribution to recipient finances. Applicants must have appropriate policies. Individuals are not directly supported. We leave 2 years between grants. Trustees meet twice yearly.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in the London Borough of Hounslow and surrounding area who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin (in particular, but not exclusively, members of the East African Swahili speaking community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society, in particular by: providing for

The charity aims to work within the Borough of Hounslow to promote rowing among children and young adults being educated within the state school sector who might not normally have access to rowing. To raise money to provide extra resources for the education of children in the school and to develop effective relationships between all members of the school community.

To Educate and Performance of choral and classical music pieces to the general public.

The following charitable activities were undertaken by the charity during the year ended 31st July 2018:-(a) Weekly Programmes which includes educational classes for almost 150 men and women.(b) Monthly Programmes on religious practice and educational programmes (workshop and seminars).

General Charitable Purposes

The purpose of Alliance Dance Unit is to give individuals, particularly young people, the opportunity to participate in the arts. Founded by Torron-Lee Dewar BCAa in 2009, Alliance Dance Unit aims to bring people together in a positive way thus making communities stronger while reducing the local crime rate. The charity has gained over 10 awards nationally since establishing.

Working with local boroughs to safeguard Brent River Park and improve public access. Opposing planning applications likely to impact on the park. Arrange occasional working parties to clear undergrowth and refuse from specific areas. Help in saving and preserving buildings of character. Provide information and publicise events such as meetings and walks.
