The Blackwood Engineering Trust was established in 2015 with the initial objective of helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged orphan children in UK, Belgium, China and India

The activities of the Charity are detailed in the review of activities and achievements in page 2 of the Financial Statements, and include Christian ministries and the relief of poverty. It only makes grants to persons known to the Trustees, and does not make unsolicited grants.

The Charity collects donations for the free and, in some cases, subsidised treatment of poor patients at "Welfare Hospital Bharuch and Research Centre", for the promotion of health and for the advancement of education in the Bharuchi Sunni Muslim Vahora Patel Community in India.

The charity helps to run a church offering regular Christian services of worship and teaching. We help run a residential school for poor children who would not otherwise be able to receive an education. We relieve sickness and preserve health, facilitating health care by professional Drs, therapists & nurses at hospitals in India. We relieve financial hardship by providing grants to the destitute.

The objects of the Charity are specifically restricted to the advancement of education, in particular but without limitation the education of girls in India and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, any other purposes that are exclusively charitable under the law of England and Wales.

We have supplied and run ambulances for a Regional Cancer Centre taking palliative care to advanced cancer sufferers.Our boys and girls homes offer facilities for needy children.Our day care centre for the elderly also provides day care to housebound elderly.All projects are registered in England and India; our assets remain Trust property.

Providing aid to the poor and ill people of India

EHM works in the area of the propagation of the gospel, spreading the Christian message and doing religious activities. We promote our charitable work in Africa and the Indian sub-continent, by organizing feeding programmes, clothing and shoes distribution and medical assistance where possible. We will bring together experts from business, education, learning & development and psychology to create and deliver new approaches to and a curriculum model for youth leadership development in schools, colleges and universities to inspire young people with the awareness, skills, attitudes and behaviours to lead themselves and others.
