The aim and activity of our Pre-school is to enhance the development and education of the children in our care by working with and involving their parents and carers. We do this by providing appropriate play, education and care facilities and training courses.

The Trust exists to meet the needs of and support those who are sick or in distress, through the provision of listening, prayer, shelter (the Priory) and other services as part of the healing ministry of the Christian Church.

To provide social and educational activities for children, teenagers and adults with learning and physical disabilities. We run three social clubs on a weekly basis covering various age groups. We have a small holding where members grow produce which we sell to raise funds. We arrange trips out to theatres, zoos, museums and other places of interest and organise an annual holiday.

Production of theatre shows for public audiences to highest standards. Accessible theatre training . Workshops and community development programmes for young people and adults. Specialists in developing programmes for under-represented people, such as BME, disadvantaged, local communities etc.

Promote & protect the good health of people living with dementia, residing on the IW, their families and carers, through the provision of support groups and other such activities, services, advice and information.To advance the education of the public about dementia and about care and support for people living with dementia, their families and carersServices can be provided only to IW resident

Voluntary Independent Lifeboat service

The IW Scout Council provides advice, guidance, information and training to the Scout Groups on the Isle of Wight, to enable them to undertake a varied programme of activities for our young people in line with the principles and objectives of the Scouting movement.

TO PROMOTE MILITARY EFFICIENCY IN ALL RANKS OF RESERVE FORCES AND TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF CADET FORCES OF ALL THREE SERVICES IN CENTRAL SOUTHERN ENGLAND SUBJECT TO THE RESTRICTIONS SET OUT IN THE CHARITABLE OBJECTS.

The charity runs an evangelical Christian Church that is known as True Vine Church that operates on the Isle of Wight.

Our aim is to bring philosophy to the wider community and particularly into challenging schools to develop childrenÔÇÖs autonomous learning and higher-order thinking skills, equipping them for life-long learning and creative and critical thinking essential in the 21st Century. We also want to engage the general public in philosophy and its uses for every day living.

ÔÇó We inform and develop new writing through a programme of educational workshops, events and seminars open to the general public. Our continuing education programme allows writers to share skills with schools and others in the community. We encourage new writing from untapped sources and who are socially excluded by being home bound or underprivileged.

Providing families and individuals in need with food, clothing, nappies and other essentials.

We provide holidays for families who are in poverty. We focus on Beds, Buckinghamshire and the Isle of Wight

Organises regular meetings across our region for men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families.Writes, produces and distributes literature and other types of information spreading awareness and information about prostate cancer.Conduct events offering free PSA tests to find men at risk of prostate cancer.

The objects of the charity are to advance the education, and/or promote the development of and/or relieve need in children and young adults living on or as determined by the Trustees having a sufficient connection with the Isle of Wight by such exclusively charitable means as the Trustees think fit particularly by promoting and supporting activities and opportunities with a marine connection.

CEYP exists to benefit the community, in particular those who have need of support by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances. CEYP works to relieve poverty, homelessness or adverse housing conditions, to promote the preservation and protection of good physical and mental health and to advance education and training

We support young people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or are questioning their sexuality or gender identity in Dorset, including Bournemouth and Poole. We also raise awareness of the challenges face by this group of young people to reduce incidences of homophobia, biphobia and transphobia.

The Daisie Rich Trust makes grants to former employees, or their dependents, of Upward and Rich Limited, who are necessitous and deserving, at the discretion of the Trustees. Further grants and donations are made to charitable trusts, charitable entities or other organisations with charitable aims, in each case for the benefit of the Isle of Wight and its residents.

WCR provides support, education and tailored programmes for the benefit of people on the Isle of Wight with a diagnosed heart condition or who have experienced a cardiac event to return to health so as to be able to lead a healthy and fulfilling life;

The prevention of equine abuse, their rehabilitation and providing full facilities for their care. Also the training and provision of selected suitable ponies for disabled persons and disability groups, (RDA)

Tidal Family Support is a community based, not for profit, child-focused charity that works with families who are directly impacted by separation or divorce. We are the only centre Enhanced accredited by the NACCC on the Isle of Wight. We provide a comprehensive range of child contact services, a wrap around family support service, counselling and signposting to other agencies.
