CLAWAR aims to widen robot application domains for the public benefit by identifying and leading keys initiatives (both nationally and internationally) that are able to address global concerns for robotics. The aims of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group (DPSG) are to improve the detection and management of diabetes in pregnant women and their offspring through education, teaching and research. Obesity before and during pregnancy has recently been added to the DPSG portfolio. The DPSG is affiliated to the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD).

The activities consist with the education of the public in general in relation to Italian language and culture, including but not limited to literature, music, theatre and cooking, particularly but not exclusively by organising and running playgroups, workshops and other events.

Fostering and promoting research, education and communication in the scientific understanding of seeds by: Publication of scientific research on seed biology in Seed Science Research, the official journal of the ISSS. We raise funds for Canine Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) Research, wherever that is taking place worldwide, We create DM awareness and offer support for owners and dogs with DM.

The Fan Circle International brings together professionals, collectors and enthusiasts of fans from around the world. Members are encouraged to undertake research into fans and fan makers for publication in our Bulletin, for which grants may be available. Grants are also given for the conservation of fans in museum collections and for educational purposes to promote knowledge of hand fans.

The Foundation makes financial grants to individuals and organisations within the UK and certain other jurisdictions with the objective of preventing or relieving poverty or financial hardship among employees and former employees, and the dependants and local communities of employees and former employees, of Amalgamated Metal Corporation PLC and its associated companies

The ultimate aim of ISGEO is to reduce eye disease, prevent blindness and preserve sight and increase visual rehabilitation globally, through promoting epidemiological, operational and health systems research and dissemination of the findings. ISGEO organises conferences where researchers can meet and exchange findings and ideas. ISGEO also awards small research grants, funds permitting.

The charity provides grants and support in relation to language education and community support in areas of the world were International House Language Schools operate.

We support teacher training courses for Suzuki teachers for which we pay the costs of the teacher trainer. In 2021-22 we have potential projects in South Africa and Zimbabwe (if security allows), and in Poland, Spain and online for Ukrainian teachers.

To promote teaching of the piano and the study of all aspects of piano playing and the teaching and training of piano teachers in Europe.
