The main activities of EHBEA are:1. A yearly conference and 2. The trustees provided emotional support to newly diagnosed families and advise them of options available for support.

Advancement of the physical education of young people by providing grants to facilitate access to training opportunities to licensed athletics coaches and athletes between the ages 16-23 years who, by reason of their youth, disability, or social and economic circumstances, have need of such support.
