The Citizens Advice Service in Kensington & Chelsea is an independent charity serving the local community. Generalist advice services provided by our main office is at 37 Pembroke Road, London W86PW . We hold outreaches across the borough and details are on www.citizensadvicekc.org.uk. Additional services provided: Welfare benefits, Housing, Income Maximisation and other advice services.

Nucleus combats poverty by providing advice and access to social welfare advice through telephone advice, face to face advice and representation.

The PCC has overall responsibility for the activities of St Mary Abbots Kensington and for the administration of its assets.

Kensington & Chelsea Mind develops and delivers services for people suffering from mental health problems. Services include: Training and Employment Services, An Information Line , Workshops to Promote Mental Wellbeing, Service User Network (SUN), Peer support programme, A pilot in peer brokerage for personal health budgets and Opportunities for volunteering As well as providing services.

Young Kensington and Chelsea Foundation (YKCF) is an independent voluntary membership organisation for all providers delivering services for the benefit of children and young people in the Royal Borough, set up by the voluntary sector for the voluntary sector and with the support and endorsement of the Local Authority.

Carers Network Westminster provides services for unpaid carers in the City of Westminster and adjoining boroughs, and for their families, cared fors, and employers. Key activities include; the provision of information and advice; emotional and practical support; support groups; breaks from caring; training; leisure activities; advocacy, carer involvement and awareness-raising.

The object of the charity are to advance the education of the public in design and in particular the subjects of advertising and packaging history. Establish and maintain a museum of advertising and packaging to be open to the public for displaying exhibitions.

Chelsea Theatre runs live art performances, programme of community events that included dance classes, art classes, fitness classes for the over 50s, a Silver Screen film club, youth activities and fellowship meetings.

NPFB addresses the "hidden hunger" and issues around the lack of food and opportunity which affect thousands of people across the UK. We provide not only food parcels but also advice through specialist partners in areas such as benefits and welfare. While no-one who needs help is turned away, our core area for both contributions and distribution is in the north of Westminster and Kensington.

Nova, based in North Kensington, offers holistic support via four programme areas: Education; Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG); Families, Children & Young People and Social Change. Our activities help people gain confidence, education, and experience, to fully participate in society to work towards a more inclusive society where all have an equal chance to get ahead, belong and be recognised.

Walkabout Foundation restores dignity, freedom and independence by providing wheelchairs in the developing world and funding research to find a cure for paralysis.

HCGA manages 4 community garden sites in Shepherds Bush, a glasshouse in Ravenscourt Park & Phoenix Farm in White City. We run volunteer programmes for people of all ages and abilities. In addition we work in local schools providing a range of gardening activities. We run environmental play activities, adult education classes & maintenance contracts. HCGA also works in Westminster and RBKC.

The Volunteer Centre aims to support and facilitate the development of quality community services through the promotion of voluntary action throughout Kensington and Chelsea. -Raising the profile and impact of volunteering-Provision of volunteer recruitment programmes-Provision of volunteer advice, information and support service-Promotion of good practice in the deployment of volunteers
