Youth - We run a weekly youth club that aims to provide activities for young people of Ashford and create an environment for positive integration. The Counselling Centre offers affordable, accredited brief focused and open ended psychodynamic counselling to individuals. We provided in-house supervision for our volunteer counsellors.The Counselling Centre runs professional training courses at certificate and diploma level as well as a programme of Continuous Professional Development for internal and external counsellors

The Kench Hill Charity seeks to deliver life-changing experiences for young people and adults by providing educational and recreational activities that inspire personal development, self-confidence, independent life skills and that promote healthy lifestyles in a safe, supportive environment with good quality affordable accommodation for groups who do not have access to other facilities.

Help in the Community is the charity responsible for Medway Foodbank, which operates as part of the Trussell Trust, a national network whose aim is to end UK food poverty. Clients access the foodbank via a voucher system. Vouchers are issued in over 100 partner agencies across the Medway towns. These are redeemed in one of 9 centres, open over 6 days of the week.

The Retreat takes in unwanted, neglected, abused and sick animals and provides vet care, facilities for their rehabilitation, food, and a safe haven. We aim, where possible, to rehome animals (subject to home checks). The Retreat has volunteers who carry out the day to day care of the animals and fundraising.

Our fund raising for the year included various events such as Christmas Fair, Easter Bonnet parade, Big Quiz Night, May Fair and Printed tea towels and photographs.

Charity operating social care provision for adults with learning disabilities

Headway Kent provides activities for adults, with Acquired Brain Injuries(ABI)their families/carers. We provide person centred social rehabilitation in the community, to assist with an individuals recovery journey- including mentally, physically, educationally and economically whilst reducing social isolation and loneliness that can occur following an ABI. We offer four Community Hubs across Kent.

To operate as an amateur theatrical society based at the Tower Theatre in Folkestone Kent; to present a varied and high quality programme of amateur plays and musicals; to encourage outside shows to hire the theatre for their presentations; to involve a wide range of Folkestone residents with the theatre, both as audience and as active participants.

Currently working in women's prisons across the UK, supporting and resourcing Chaplaincy departments, and women caught up in the Criminal Justice System. Delivering a range of rehabilitative courses in prison and through Probation in the community. Supporting women resettling back into the community through mentoring, supported accommodation, and an employment network.

Parochial Church Council for Kemsing and Woodlands, Kent

We support families through separation and divorce to reduce trauma that this can have on them and children involved. We offer a number of services supported and supervised contact (where there is a risk). Support groups for adults and children to assist them in moving forward positively. We also support children and families maintain or renew contact when they are separated through adoption.

The Trust's main aim is to support programmes which reduce offending and reoffending, promote entrepreneurship amongst the young and disadvantaged, and tackle other challenges such as homelessness and addiction.

For the relief of children and young people with disablilities or special needs, living in the East Kent area, by the provision of information, advice and support to their parents and carers, leisure activities for the children and young people and such other charitable activities as the Committee in their absolute discretion shall decide.
