The Anglican parish for South East Canterbury promoting therein the Christian Faith, good community relations, care for all, especially the disadvantaged, welcoming of visitors, friendly relations with other churches in the City, and responsible for the maintenance of two historic churches, one of which is part of the Canterbury World Heritage Site and is the oldest parish church in England.

Wye PCC is committed to making the gospel of Jesus Christ accessable as possible to the people of the parish and to all who visit or pass through. We work hard to serve our local community, to encourage as many people as possible to encounter the risen Christ and to deepen their faith through prayer and scripture, music and sacrament.

Promotion of the preservation of churches in the County of Kent (pre April 1965 boundaries) and to help maintain in good order their fabric and fixtures of special importance and to provide the facilities necessary to keep them in use

Our activities include: - Broadstairs Town Shed - the opportunity for older people to take part in wood working sessions and offers a space for skills to be shared and learnt. This project has given a purpose back in life to some lonely people. - Litterpicking events - Gardening groups - RRR - a forum for our community to work together to help with the war against plastic

Nursery School

The Pre-school has been in the community for 50 years and is now the only one in the area providing much need places for the local children. We provide high quality education and care for 2-5 year olds in a happy and stimulating environment, where we offer sessional places during term time. We off children the opportunity to learn through play based on the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum

The provision and maintenance of housing for the elderly and needy residents of Margate

Church services, baptisms, weddings, mother and toddlers, over 60's day centre, relevant courses etc.

Protects the welfare of all animals.

The charity provides public worship open to all; the provision of sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation; pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved; the teaching of Christianity through sermons and small groups; the taking of religious assemblies in schools; the support to other charities in the UK and overseas.

People United is a participatory arts charity and creative laboratory. We use the arts to grow kind, caring and engaged communities.

The main purpose of our charitable activity is to receive donations and raise funds for the improvement of healthcare. This is achieved through investment in patient and staff welfare, funding research and education.

Day service for homeless and vulnerable people

Home-Start Dover District offers support and friendship to families under stress. Our Core service offers home visiting volunteers to families, in addition to this we run Family Groups that provide additional support to families.

The charity teaches people to swim, offers life saving, water polo, long distance and open water swimming, and competition swimming to national standard. Dover Lifeguard Club is an accredited swim 21 club.

Providing therapeutic horse riding, carriage driving and educational activities for disabled and disadvantaged adults and children. Promoting community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities to learn skills relating to horse riding, carriage driving.Promoting the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association including carriage driving (charity number 244108)

Football Club

Giving monetary grants to aid the elderly, sick infirmed and other persons in financial difficulties (both young and old) from the Parish of Borden, subject to the Trustees approval, it aims to help those in need.

We are a Deaf and Disabled Peoples Organisation DDPO, run by and for Deaf and Disabled People and carers in Bromley and neighbouring boroughs. We enable local Disabled People to fully understand our rights, develop collective pride and build skills in self advocacy and strong civic participation. We challenge discrimination and break down barriers to independence and inclusion.

The Children's Workshop is a pre-school for local children aged between 2 and five years old. The Children's Workshop is open for 38 weeks a year and children may attend a maximum of 7 sessions a week. The Children's Workshop is registered and inspected by Ofsted.
