our charity is a pre-school nusery, providing dayly term time child care for children aged 2-5 yrs old.

We run a weekly drop in for senior citizens. We hold an annual young Black achievers awards. We develop and deliver projects that promote diversity and celebrate heritage and culture. We work with partners across statutory, voluntary, private sectors to achieve our objectives. We work with young people with regards to culture, arts and education.

Excavating archaeology is the life blood of this science. Thus, the Society is conducting its owns excavations that are advertised and freely open to the public to attend. In addition, the Society also supports both in terms of expertise and financially, community-based archaeology in Kent.

The historic Gardens are maintained for the enjoyment of the public, for the growth and propagation of trees and plants, for the furtherance of the study and science of botany, and for the promotion of the conservation of nature, especially those rarer species of plants and trees in danger of loss of cultivation.

This can be by providing grants, loans or other funding, or by acquiring or renting property and making it available for use. The Cottage Community is an independent registered charity providing a day centre and hot meals, lunch clubs, activities, transport and shopping trips for elderly and vulnerable clients, resident in the our catchment area. Generally speaking our catchment area is the rural communities between Sevenoaks and Dartford and Gravesend.We have been providing services for over 65 years.

TO PROVIDE SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL INTELLECTUAL AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION WITHIN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AGED 2 - 4 1/2 YEARS

Magpie Preschool in the village of Boughton Under Blean is sited in the grounds of Boughton and Dunkirk Methodist Primary School. It educates a maximum of 24 children from 2 up to 4 years old. Magpie works very closely with the school to use a common curriculum and make the transition from the Preschool to a Primary Reception Class as smooth as possible.

To act as a sanctuary and veterinary clinic for unwanted cats.
