The Charity of Boughton Monchelsea Village Hall & Recreation Ground is run by a Committee which meets bi-monthly at the Village Hall premises. It is the aim of the Charity to further the maintenance and repair of the village hall and its recreation ground to the benefit of the community Boughton Monchelsea.

The object of the fund is the relief of sickness of patients suffering from Leukaemia and cancer at The Maidstone General Hospital in the County of Kent and any other hospital in Kent.

Mercy missions to the poor and orphans in Europe and needy communities around the United Kingdom. Medicines, blankets, shoes and warm clothing are sent into Europe, Eastern Europe and Ukraine to needy families and orphanages. Seminars to help families in the UK in home relationships, marriage breakdowns and needy children. Seminars to equip counsellors to help others in crisis.

To promote the objectives of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving, a charity registered under charity no. 244108, by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or carriage drive to benefit their health and well being in the Sevenoaks area.

The church is involved with the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Whitstable and the surrounding neighbourhood; and such other charitable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance with the Basis of Faith.

Church of Christ (Commercial Road), holds regular worship and teaching services, prayer meetings, events, public celebration of religious festivals, produces/distributes literature to enlighten others about the Christian faith. We also carry out other charitable purposes: feeding the poor, working with children/young people, visiting the sick and elderly, supporting the homeless and those in need.

Platgroup-look after young children

The Charity manages the Wye Village Halls facilities which comprise a Large Hall, a Small Hall, the Reece Pavilion and a small Meeting Room. Two kitchen areas. two kitchenettes and some storage space. The halls are hired out for private, one-off functions and for regular/semi-regular use mainly by not-for-profit organisations that are providing a service to the local community.

Religious activities, provide facilities for offering daily and weekly prayer and to provide Islamic and cultural education for children.

To preserve and advance public education and appreciation of traditional and contemporary folk music, song, dance and other related traditions, crafts and folk arts as a part of the living heritage. In particular through promoting the annual Tenterden Folk Festival, occassional concerts and dances, educational workshops for schools, etc. and working as a local folk development agency.

The principle activity is that of supporting and promoting the interests of the learning disabled population of the Folkestone & Hythe & Romney Marsh area.

Provision of facilities, services, and support to all members of the community of Hersden.To manage the Community Centre for the benefit of all members of the community in Hersden.Services provided include Holiday Playschemes, Senior Citizens Lunch Club, Art Group and Coffee Mornings. We host various statutory and grant funded agencies.

To promote the develop young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local national and international communities by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law and guided by adult leadership.
