The main objective of the Charity is to promote the relief of suffering and treatment of illness in the Medway and Swale areas. The Charity makes an annual grant to Medway Community Healthcare to not only ensure that the current services of The Wisdom Hospice are maintained but, where possible, to continually improve upon those services.

Little Gate is a charity providing a skills and training program for learning disabled & Autistic adults and young people who want to go into paid work through supported employment. We also provide respite through our holiday club for children with learning disabilities and difficulties.

We will be the main contact for Carers' in East Kent, providing emotional support, information advice and guidance, training, advocacy and forums. We will work to promote the needs of Carers to Statutory Agencies, Voluntary Organisations and the wider public.

The objects of this Charitable Incorporated Organisation are the relief of sickness and the promotion of good health and wellbeing of patients of NHS services in Medway. It began operating on 1 August 2018, taking over from the Unincorporated Charity (Registered Number 240562) which carried out the same function previously.

North Kent Mind Mind works with people with mental health problems living in the North Kent and Medway areas of Kent to effect personal and social change.

The Charity's objectives are specifically restricted to the following: For the public benefit to advance the education of people under the age of 25 years in Kent, in particular but not exclusively, for those with disabilities or disadvantages. Covering practical horticulture, farm animal care, creative crafts, functional skills, hospitality & catering, environment & conservation.

The London Buddhist Centre teaches meditation and Buddhism in a way that is relevant to contemporary western life. It is a non-proselytising public centre, open to all, with no expectation of Buddhist interest / involvement. The Breathing Space programme run by the Centre teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches to help prevent relapse into depression and addiction and to manage stress and anxiety.

The Shanly Foundation makes awards to organisations in South East England that work for community benefit, including: Children & young people, the elderly, people with disabilities and other charities or voluntary bodies.The Shanly Foundation was established in 1997 under previous charity number 1065044. In 2018, it updated its legal structure and registered with a new charity number 1182155.

Promotion of the mental, physical and spiritual well being of children and young people and the relief of children in need of care and protection by the provision of day care facilities, and facilities for such children outside school hours and during school holidays.

The objects of the charity are to promote, maintain, improve and advance public education, appreciation and understanding of Youth Arts. The charitable company continues to explore new ways of improving provision for young people in creative activities.

This is a small independent school for students aged 11 to 18, designated by DfES as suitable for some students with specific learning difficulties. Many of the students could be considered emotionally vulnerable, but are of average or above average intelligence.

The League is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and its charitable objectives are to relieve sickness and to preserve and protect good health for the public benefit by supporting the work of the Kent and Canterbury Hospital by such means as the trustees deem appropriate.

We operate a range of services supporting older within the Borough including Day care facilities, Independent Living Service, Foot care, Bathing, Befriending, Exercise and Socialise sessions, Wheel chair hire, Information and Advice Service, Handyman and Gardening service. For people with dementia we run a dementia day care service , Cognitive Stimulation clubs and a dementia cafe.

Accommodation is available for up to 40 people mainly through our registered care home, hostel & independent living flats in Tunbridge Wells.We offer person-centred care and our residents are encouraged through their support workers to take responsibility for their own lives with a view to moving back into the local community.

To promote adequate training of persons employed, or intending to be employed, in industry and commerce. To extend such provision or assistance to the training or education of members of the public generally.

To support and encourage the work of schools, churches and parishes across the Diocese of Rochester in Christian distinctiveness through excellent education of children and young people.
