The Trust makes grants to Organisation that will, in the view of the Trustees, help it to meet one or more of its charitable Objects

Kent Cancer Trust aims to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within Kent, particularly but not exclusively by developing and training medical staff, by promoting research into cancer leading to the development of new treatments and diagnostic aids and by educating the public in the cause and treatment of the disease.

We all suggest the films we would like to see then vote to select those that get screened. A short film (perhaps of educational or cultural significance) is screened before the main feature, then we hold a discussion group for all to exchange views and learn about the film. Free transport is available for the infirm and we charge the bare minimum to enable as many as possible to join us.

The Trustees shall hold and apply the Trust Fund and all monies received whether from donations bequests deeds of covenant or from any other source upon trust to apply both the capital and income thereof to or for the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

The main purposes of the Women's Institute organisation are to enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life, including arts, crafts and sciences, to improve and develop conditions of rural life, to advance their education in citizenship, in public questions, in music, drama, all branches of agriculture, home economics, health and social welfare.

To provide a meeting place and to promote the welfare of all Herne Bay residents who are over 60 years of age.

Parent Teacher Assocation

Founded in 2017 in order to inspire and engage young people from all backgrounds into cultural and artistic experiences through spray-painting. Our beneficiaries are anyone who is disengaged from society for reasons beyond their control. At CAN we specialise in an artform which speaks to young people in their language. Street- art,

Providing housing.

To provide accommodation for the needy who have been associated with the Parish of Penshurst.

We are a nursery school that caters for children between 12 months and 5 years. We are open every day during term time and share the same site as Sandhurst Primary School.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Buckland ward, in Dover, and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, political, religious, or other opinions by working with partners and the inhabitants in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation to improve the quality of life of said inhabitants.

A fully integrated Scout Group offering traditional and modern activities for boys and girls from age 6 to 13 inclusive

Provides a meeting place for village organisations and groups for various activities. Provides a hall for use of local residents for social activities including weddings and parties.

General Charitable Activities

The objectives of the Friends of Brampton Association are to advance the education and well being of the students at the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and services for education at the school. This is through fund raising and activities throughout the school.

To support, improve the lives and futures of children, aged 2-13 living in Kent and the South East with multi-sensory impairments and physical difficulties. We provide life changing support for children and their families, ensuring that the children achieve a meaningful quality of life and can aim for brighter futures based on improved physical, emotional, social and communication abilities.

Friends of Holmewood undertake regular activities to promote good relations between pupils, parents and staff and fundraise to provide additional facilities to benefit the pupils of the school that would not be funded through normal school budget. We hold annual fundraising events including Christmas Fairs, Quiz Nights and Summer events for all staff, parents and pupils.

Mainly fundraising activities for the school such as social evenings for parents and the summer fair. We also organise non profit making social family events such as a new parent meet-ups and Christmas carol singing.

The Aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

We raise money and accept regular donations from the parents so that grants may be made to departments within the school to help improve the children's education and welfare.
