The charity is supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children through work with schools in Kenya. Paying fees for children and funding school based projects ranging from buying books to building classrooms. It is involved in building a school in Kenya and setting up sustainable projects to provide long term funding for the schools it works with.

The advancement of the Christian faith

To fulfill the following objectives in Kenya and other developing countries:(1) to advance the education of children e.g.through the provision of teachers and other volunteers, grants, school equipment and other items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty(2) the advancement of female empowerment

Provision of donations, services, equipment or items to individuals, charities & organisations in need in the UK, Indian sub-continent or Africa, concerned with:a) Prevention or relief of poverty;b) Education of economically disadvantaged communities;c) Relief of sickness and preservation of health;d) Provision of nutritious food;e) Conservation of the environment;f) Relief of old age.

Our object is to advance the Christian faith, principally through the provision of grants and project funding for individuals or organisations. Key focus areas are on training, education and the support and welfare of young people, with a particular focus in sub-saharan Africa.

To improve educational facilities through provision across Africa.

To receive and manage all sponsorship money from members in England & Wales pertaining to the education & welfare of children in St Stephen's rehabilitation centre, Embu, Kenya.

THE CENTRE PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES AT FOUR LEVELS: SOCIAL, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL. THIS ALLOWS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WHO MAY FEEL EXCLUDED FROM EXISTING SERVICES TO PARTICIPATE IN A CENTRE THAT CATERS FOR THEIR NEEDS. WE DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND INITIATIVES FOR WOMEN SUCH AS COUNSELLING, ADVOCACY, MOTHERS AND TODDLERS GROUPS, AND A RAMADAN PROGRAMME.

GloryTribe - Networking with other similar Churches, locally, nationally and internationally . Healing prayer ministry, christian counselling, study groups and home groups, teaching conferences. 'Healing Streams' - GloryTribe's ministry to orphans, children's hospital, nursery and needy families in Kisumu and other parts of Kenya. Help with education and small businesses. The trust continues to support a wide range of charitable causes. We support a mission station in Wajir, North East Kenya which provides education and mother and baby clinics. The mission is run by the Daughters of St Anne, a catholic order of nuns.

The Thunder Foundation operates in and around the Kawangware Slum in Nairobi, Kenya. We help to;-Educate 25 Children that would not normally attend school. Offering Education, a Feeding Program and Basic Health Care.-Sponsor 15 Children with Special Needs to attend School. Offering Education, a Feeding Program and Basic Health Care.

We give small grants to medical and educational projects worldwide . We favour projects which do not attract funding from major charities. We do not fund gap year projects.

Salamander aims to protect, promote and enhance the health and rights of people particularly, but not exclusively, marginalised by societies worldwide as a result of their gender, HIV status or sexual and reproductive health. We conduct: global advocacy work; related research; and we coordinate the global Community of Practice of users of the Stepping Stones training programme on gender and HIV.
