SAMI supports passionate, enthusiastic and talented individuals with powerful ideas to improve the current state of mathematics education in African countries. We provide expertise and funding necessary to implement, sustain and scale these ideas. SAMI currently supports projects involving maths camps, maths clubs, statistical software development, and increased use of technology in schools.

Fund raising is by means of a house to house collection at Christmas and numerous events during the year. Donations are made to various rotary international projects, disasters, national and local organisations, charities and activities involving children.

Fostering and promoting research, education and communication in the scientific understanding of seeds by: Publication of scientific research on seed biology in Seed Science Research, the official journal of the ISSS. Co-ordination and organisation of conferences and more specialised meetings related to seed science. Publication of proceedings of ISSS conferences and other meetings.

To promote the education of persons in any country in Africa who through their social andeconomic circumstances are in need.To further any charitable purpose for the benefit of the community in any part of Africa and, inparticular, promote the protection of health and relief of poverty, sickness and distress.

Working with our sister charity in Kenya to provide support to poverty stricken regions, including low income families, orphanages, the elderly, and single mothers. Our focus areas in terms of the support we provide are in Food, Education, Water, and Housing.

The organization provides training in life skills training and vocational subjects and skills for the public benefit

The charity will work with partner organisations which meet its due diligence requirements in order toprovide this support on the ground. Local organisations providing education, safe childcare, health andwellbeing, supplemental school programmes, infrastructure and other initiatives enabling children andfamilies to rebuild their lives will be supported through grant-funding.

We have developed our donation processes, in order that the equipment we have to donate to academics is done in such a way that everyone has a fare chance to benefit. RORO is currently looking for potential recipients of equipment we have refurbished and is ready to ship.

The ultimate aim of ISGEO is to reduce eye disease, prevent blindness and preserve sight and increase visual rehabilitation globally, through promoting epidemiological, operational and health systems research and dissemination of the findings. ISGEO organises conferences where researchers can meet and exchange findings and ideas. ISGEO also awards small research grants, funds permitting.

To improve the lifechances of the community of Mwamanga Village, near Ukunda, Kenya, including providing access to healthcare for children, birth control for women and sponsoring children to attend school.

The charity aims to assist in the alleviation of poverty in the communities in Africa it serves. This is addressed through investing in the medium to long term development (such as the provision of funding for academic and vocational training) as well providing assistance to some more immediate needs (such as hunger and homelessness).

Provision of support to the Christian church primarily but not exclusively in Zambia and Kenya. we have music evenings,sponsored walks , film evenings,awareness raising talks, 3 peak walks, comedy evenings.this month we are having a cross bay sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay. we are also having a showing of our film Abandon the Knife and question and answer session afterwards. Early this year we had a music evening .We are having leaflets made to encourage people to donate .
