To promote the benefit of all inhabitants of the Spring Bank Area without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities for the common benefit of said inhabitants.

We work with young people aged 10-18, through skill building and sporting activities we aim to promote self discipline, team work, team responsibilities, respect for others, pride in personal presentation (appearance and behaviour), self-esteem and self respect. We also aim to equip them for adulthood with the values and standards needed for good citizenship.

The charity's activities means that they give care packages to vulnerable people and families in the Hull area. This includes, but is not limited to, food parcels, clothes, toys, household items, school uniform and any other items that are requested.

We collect clothing and other items and raise funds to help asylum seekers in Hull and East Riding, as well as vulnerable people locally. We also provide a small amount of assistance to asylum seekers overseas. We aim to raise awareness of the situation of people seeking asylum, by organising public events, such as talks, and being involved in local festivals etc.

The primary activity of the charity is the provision of grants to individuals and groups of individuals towards the costs of travel, residence and attendances at conferences, lectures and educational courses.

The scout group has a splendid headquarters where all the different sections of the group meet, for various activities.The headquarters is also used by other voluntary organisations from time to time. Who make a small donation to the scout group for this facility.In addition the scouts have various activities away from the headquarters including camping, hiking and other social activities.

The objects of HICP are:To advance the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art of film, in particular but not exclusively by:(a) the screening of films of artistic merit and educative value in and around the city of Kingston Upon Hull; and(b) establishing, maintaining and providing educational programmes, exhibition space and production facilities.

We provide sporting & recreational activities to children & adults including table tennis, martial arts, . room hire for public and private meetings such as the Over 50's Computer Club, Irish Dancing, Over 55 luncheon club, toddles group councillors surgery and residents group. A local history group meet at the Club. A Church Group uses the building on Sunday mornings.

To advance the physical education and development of young people by the organisation, provision or assistance of facilities which will enable young people at clubs and associations, or at schools, universities and other educational establishments in Yorkshire to play cricket or other games or sports.

Providing life changing learning experiences in the Russian language for children 5 - 15 years old from Eastern European families living in Hull and surround areas. Providing play sessions, art, chess and math lessons for children from multilingual families.Organising parties and celebrations for children involving their families. Organising well being events for children.

SEARCH exists to assist churches in the key mission aim of engaging with God's world in compassion, care and service, in the context of their local communities. By direct advice and support, by the gathering and sharing of information and experience, by networking and the publication of materials, we enable churches to do more to meet local need.

St Andrews Community Centre within walking distance of a large local estate, next to the local Primary School.The Centre has a small facility but is well used by childrens activities, Pilates and Yoga groups, WW and Womens Institute meetings and Karate, for local community groups and children party hire.

St Hugh's encourages arts research and development by enabling applicants from Lincolnshire, East Yorkshire and the City of Hull to make their own impact regionally or nationally through new work in any of the art forms. The Community Centre provides varied activities for the benefit of the community which we serve. These include - stroke club - computer club - children's disco - warm zone drop-ins - band rehearsals- church groups- - day carers group - disabled group - keep fit classes - social activities - rugby training and a meeting venue, activity groups and a gardening/social group.

We work directly with Eastfield Primary school and organise and host fundraising events within the school, to raise funds for activities, events and equipment for the school.

To promote the game of Chess through the provision of learning, teaching and playing of chess for the benefits of the residents of Hull and District (defined as the local authority areas of Hull and the East Riding).

YSRA promotes the playing of squash and squash57 throughout Yorkshire by organising coaching, running competitions such as County Championships and providing information and advice to venues with squash courts on how to maximise their use

The charity aims to give relief to parent(s) and guardian(s) of children resident within the area of the Diocese of York who are in need, hardship or distress and their children. We make grants to provide and pay for goods, items, services and facilities. We also give grants to other bodies who provide goods, services or facilities to those in need.
