OUR ACTIVITIES COMPRISE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN GEOLOGY IN EAST YORKSHIRE AND SURROUNDING AREAS, VIA LECTURES, FIELD TRIPS, OPEN DAYS, PUBLICATIONS AND WEBSITE, IN CONJUNCTION WITH LOCAL COUNCILS, MUSEUMS, EDUCATIONAL AND CONSERVATIONAL INSTITUTIONS. ALL AVAILABLE AND PROMOTED TO PUBLIC.

Working within the community and voluntary sector within the Humber area to assist organisations to improve, protect and procure recreation facilities

This is the Lodge's Charity fund for use for Charitable donations within the locality, mainly, though not exclusively to other charities and support of the widows of past Lodge members.

Furthering the religious and other charitable work of the United Reformed Church in Kingston upon Hull and the neighbourhood thereof.

Full initially will be a catering business but with scope to diversify into other areas. The ethos of the charity is to enhance the skills of the socially disadvantaged with the aim of increasing chances of employment.

Support meetings are held each month with guest speakers relating to living with or managing the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes. Awareness, fundraising and activity events are held throughout the year.In order to provide support to families who may not be able to attend regular meetings activity events are provided to encourage families to get together and talk about managing Type 1 Diabetes.

From 1st April 2011 to 31st March 2012 we have supported the following organisations; The Walker Street Contact Club, Victim Support, Daggards for Charity, St. Mary`s Church, Swine, E Yorks, restoration, Castle Hill Hospital Cancer Investigation Camera, Camphill Family, Botton Village nr. Whitby, N.Yorks, British Lung Foundation, Province of Yorks. N&E Riding,

To seek out and preserve motion picture film showing life and work in the historic county of Lincolnshire, and to make such film accessible to all with an interest in Lincolnshire's local history.

Providing relief for any distressed member of the Provincial Grand Conclave of North and East Yorkshire or any former member thereof or his widow or children.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS (AGED UP TO 25 YEARS) RESIDENT IN THE CITY OF KINGSTON UPON HULL BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE SUCH YOUNG PERSONS AS ARE IN NEED TO TRAVEL ABROAD SO TO ENHANCE THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AS INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.

Our activities are mainly led by individual or group applications, providing grants and financial support for activities, projects or equipment that will benefit young people either during, or after cancer treatment within the East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire areas.

The promotion of neurosurgical practice in the county of East Yorkshire and the neighbouring counties by the purchase and maintenance of research equipment or the provision of facilities for teaching or in such other ways as the Trustees think fit.

TO PURCHASE BOOKS ON OR ABOUT RELIGION FOR LIBRARIES WITHIN THE AREA OF KINGSTON UPON HULL, SCULCOATES, HORNSEA, SCARBOROUGH, BRIDLINGTON, KIRMNGTON AND SUCH OTHER PLACES AS THE TRUSTEE THINKS FIT

The advancement of the arts and heritage by educating the public about the life and achievements of pioneering aviator Amy Johnson through: devising and delivering artistic and cultural activities and events; creating and sharing educational and information resources; awarding grants in Hull and the ERY for the purposes of creating new artistic activities relevant to these aims.

Christmas cheques to the widows of past members. (currently 6 x -ú25.) Occasional donations to Military Charities, Help for Heroes, Afghanistan Trust etc. Assistance can be made available to members and/or close family if and when required.

The charity runs the Barrow-upon-Humber Ringing Centre, a specialist centre of excellence in the teaching of the heritage art of English Change Ringing which is based at Holy Trinity Parish Church at Barrow-upon-Humber, Lincolnshire.

The trust supports the ministry at St Andrew's Kirk Ella.

ACT serves the people of Anlaby Village, Anlaby Common, Anlaby Park and Rokeby Park (West Hull). We are working with local groups and stakeholders on projects including a community garden, to help us bring communities together and address issues affecting children, families, the lonely and isolated in this often overlooked part of Hull and East Yorkshire.

WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CREATIVE PLAY OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND YOUNG VOLUNTEERS CONTINUE TO BE THE DRIVING FORCE. COUNTRYSIDE AND SEA SIDE VISITS, OVER NIGHT CAMPING AND RESIDENTIAL ACTIVITY HAVE BEEN HUGELY BENEFICIAL TO PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELL BEING AND WE CONTINUE TO PROMOTE INCLUSIVE WORK SENSITIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL CHILD OR YOUNG PERSON.
