Part of the International Scouting Movement involving both boys and girls 6 years and older.The purpose of scouting is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To further the advancement of Christian faith and the relief of poverty by educating members of the community as necessary.To teach the sound word of God.To organize children and youth activities, to promote unity in the course of developing deeper spiritual growth. To work in cooperation with other Christian organisation and support events to achieve Christian aims and objectives.

Organising School events such as Summer Fair, Fun evenings, Quiz nights, Cake sales, Picnics etc. in order to raise money to buy school equipment, toys and give donations to cver the cost of school trips

The charity works by raising funds from voluntary sources within the Diocese of Guildford which are used to make grants to assist local churches and faith-linked organisations develop and sustain community projects. Projects cover a wide range of public sectors including education, youth work, mental health, community development and the relief of homelessness and poverty in the local area.

Raising money through summer and Christmas fairs, raffles, school discos, film nights, quizzes etc. Money raised has gone towards new equipment, a Patch to Plate Project and the annual Christmas pantomime among other school related things.

Every parent, carer or member of staff automatically becomes a member of the PCSA on joining the school and is invited to all PCSA meetings, which are held to organise fundraising and non-fundraising events and discuss ideas for future events, as well as to decide what the money raised should be spent on.
