The Black Dyke Band enjoyed a successful year in 2013, playing in concerts, releasing new recordings, taking part in competitions and continuing its work with young people through the Yorkshire Youth Brass Band.

Rescue unwanted dogs, accomodate in secure and loving foster homes, seek new homes for the dogs to owners that are checked for suitability, enable adoption which is covered by an Adoption Contract including animal welfare clauses plus a returns policy if the dog can no longer be kept by the new owners, provide post adoption advice and guidance to new owners, fundraising, website, advertising.

Provision of Junior Football activities in the Leeds area.

To establish, secure, preserve & hold on trust Holmfirth Civic Hall as a community asset & to maintain & manage it to benefit residents of Holmfirth & surrounding areas, by working with others to advance education & provide facilities in the interests of social welfare & leisure time recreation to improve conditions of life, & to promote performing & visual arts for public benefit.

We are a pre-school offering childcare and early education to children age 2 - 7 years. We offer funded places for eligible 2 and all 3/4 year olds. We also offer childcare during the holidays and a wrap around club.

We address issues arising from race inequality, poor community relations, and xenophobia by working with the Public and Voluntary sector to deliver more inclusive and equitable services. We collaborate with our key stakeholders to work towards fostering good relations and cohesion between communities.
