Restart Trust provides abstinent supported accomodation for people recovering from addictions to drugs and or alcohol, and creates training, volunteering and employment opportunities for vulnerable adults.

Founded in May 1998 Liverpool Bereavement Service (LBS) is a charitable company devoted to providing the only exclusive bereavement service for adults and children of Liverpool and surrounding areas. We have 4 part time paid member of staff and approx 50 volunteers. LBS offers one to one counselling. The organisation offers training courses on "Loss & Bereavement" which can be tailored to suit.

We arrange a variety of recreational activities for disabled children, young adults up to the age of 25 and their families. These include theatre and cinema trips, craft sessions, soft play/sensory sessions, day trips to farms and zoos, tramolining, fun and float sessions in a swimming pool.

Regular public worship open to all, the provision of sacred space for personal prayer; pastoral work including the visiting of the sick and bereaved. Teaching the Christianity through sermons, courses and groups, taking assemblies, providing Christian youth groups, promoting the Christian faith through events, meetings and literature, supporting other charities at home and overseas.

To preserve and protect the health of young adults on Merseyside by: - promoting and facilitating cardiovascular screening of young adults in Merseyside so as to reduce early death rates from previously unknown or undetected medical conditions; and,- promoting the general public's understanding and awareness of coronary heart screening of young adults and its potential benefits.
