The Charity operates two lifeboats off the coast of Southport and additionally carries out beach, mud and marshland searches and rescues in the coastal areas between the rivers Mersey and Ribble. Education and Training are offered to volunteers.

TO PROMOTE KINDNESS AND SUPPRESS CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND ATTEND GENERALLY TO THE WELFARE OF ALL ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION. TO PROVIDE A BENEFIT TO ANIMALS AND THE COMMUNITY THROUGH ANIMAL WELFARE EDUCATION.

The Charity provides care for persons with learning disabilities through the provision of supported accommodation. The Charity and its employees are currently able to support up to 9 persons in purpose built accommodation in Blackburn.

HARV is a Domestic Violence Service working with women and children from Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley

To advance the social and play opportunities of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities and to include their siblings.We do this by providing After School Clubs, Holiday Clubs, Daytime Support, Stay and Play Sessions, Siblings Groups and Youth Clubs. All the sessions take place at the charities rented premises, Unique Kidz and Co Woodhill Lane Morecambe LA4 4NW.

Advice and support on all aspects of home improvements, repairs, maintenance, and special schemes to support disabled and older people to remain in their own homes

To provide an immediate and sustained response to poverty and need in the local community and to support the ongoing wellbeing of those we encounter. main activities include a foodbank, a welfare benefit advice service, a counselling service, housing advice and support and a nurse led health advice and advocacy service.

Provide a wide variety of distinctive and high quality theatre performance and participatory activities for people from all communities in Oldham and Greater Manchester.

Restoration & operation of the Morecambe Winter Gardens Theatre as a viable music and arts venue, restoration and regeneration of the Grade II* listed building. Achieved by income generating activities: event space for hire, usage for commercial music concerts, culture & performance space and operation of catering services. Primary aim is income generation to secure its long term future.

Animal welfare activities & promotions.

The Charity makes provisions for all religious and cultural requirements of the society's members and the general public by maintaining the Masjid and Madrassah premises. The activities and services provided include Daily prayers, Funeral and burial services, Nikah ceremonies, Religious Education and many other religious ceremonies.

The objects of the Branch are to promote the work and objects of the National Society of the RSPCA, with particular reference to the area of the Branch. This includes the promotion of kindness and to prevent cruelty to animals and to do such lawful acts as the Society may consider being conducive to the attainment of its objectives.

The objects of the Fund are to provide financial assistance to: Freemasons and their dependants in cases of distress; children resident in the Province for educational and quality of life purposes; community projects in the Province and other charitable purposes as may from time to time be decided by the scheme's trustees.

Poverty food is a real issue in some regions of Lancashire UK. The Hyndburn district is listed as the 34th mostincome-deprived in England with near one fifth of the population (18.2 per cent) listed as out of work or onlow income. Local people are dealing with hunger every day. Too many families are worrying about theirnext meal because of circumstances beyond their control.

The charity's objects are to relieve the suffering and distress of cats, dogs and other animals by the provision of food, shelter and veterinary care for unwanted, sick or ill-treated animals and wherever possible provide good homes for them. We aim also to prevent the unwanted breeding of animals and to advance public education in the needs and proper care of animals.

PROVIDING SPORT, HEALTH AND SOCIAL INCLUSION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PEOPLE OF WIGAN AND THE SURROUNDING AREA

Play Inclusion Project provides respite to parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities through short breaks activities. The charity delivers youth clubs, weekend clubs and holiday clubs during every school holiday period. We recruit staff and volunteers to meet the individual support needs of the children and young people who attend our activities.

The church holds a wide range of meetings and events on Sundays and throughout the week for its members, their families and all who are interested in exploring the Christian faith. All the activities uphold and adhere to the Basis of Faith, doctrinal distinctives and ethical statements of the church.

To assist people with special needs and learning difficulties to make the transition between unemployment and mainstream employment, by offering selected training courses in which they may gain the skills and qualifications for a trade.
