The Compassion Prison Ministry is a Pentecostal group of volunteers and chaplains from several quite different denominations, working in partnership with prison Chaplaincy Teams in the UK educating and encouraging offenders in rehabilitation back into the community.

The Charity is involved in providing teaching facilities for students educating in the islamic subjects providing knowledge of the Islamic Culture and life style. We meet each month and generally have a speaker on many topics, refreshments and a socialget together, we organise walks, trips and many other activities

Newburgh School PTA raise monies for things like sports kits for the children, enabling them to compete with other teams/schools. Provide fun activities for the children. Provide laptops so that all children have the opportunity to access computer programmes and the internet.

To provide a garden for recreational, educational or therapeutic use with the objective of improving the lives of the residents of Barnoldswick and the surrounding areas. To provide opportunities for children & families to gain knowledge & horticultural experience and to provide volunteer activities for those who cannot commit to being a full time allotment holder

We rise money via a variety of fund raising activities(such as fairs, raffles, coffee mornings, and quizzes) in and around school and our local community to purchase equipment and fund activities for the children at Thurnham Glasson CE Primary School that are not currently provided for within the school budget.

To finance the maintenance and improvement of Lytham, St John's bells to enable the bells to be rung for services, weddings, funerals, national and local celebrations to proclaim a Christian witness in the Parish and wider community. Also to ensure the bells remain in ringable condition to enable new ringers of all ages and from all sections of the community to be encouraged to learn bell ringing.

Holding fund raising events for both overseas and Uk charities.

We operate and maintain a sports/recreation ground for the local community of Calder Vale and the Parish of Barnacre with Bonds, in the council district of Wyre, in Lancashire.

Gives grants to individuals, living in the parish of Cuerden, to assist with educational expenses.
