Morecambe Bay Foodbank has been set up for the relief of need and hardship among people in Morecambe and the surrounding area by providing emergency food, essential toiletries and household items to individuals and families in need and for the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory services in the area.

Home-Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre offers informal and friendly support to families with young children, providing a lifeline to parents and children in the area of Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre. Support is provided by fully trained volunteers in the home or at group and is free, confidential and non-judgemental. The quality of this is maintained by working to national standards via Home-Start UK.

To pursue the objects of the charity with all the resources available to the charity.

Madrasatul Imam Muhammad Zakaria is an independent educational institute for pupils. It aims to foster an awareness within students about their surroundings and society in an environment that is both conductive to their learning and moral welfare. The institute aims to install within its pupils with a sense of citizenship and prospensity for human welfare, values, plurality and multiculturalism.

We support & help those affected by conflict so they are able to use their experience in a positive way to help prevent violence in their communities & beyond.We are the only UK organisation which supports victims & survivors of political violence, conflict and acts of terror through the provision of learning, exploring the causes & effects of conflict & its resolution through non-violent means.

NISCU is a non-denominational organisation committed to Christian ministry and to acting co-operatively with local churches in its work with young people. It acts as a resource for local schools so that the central beliefs of the Christian faith may be communicated to young people in an appropriate way as part of their education. It operates in seven geographical areas.

We work in partnership with primary schools in the provision of high quality health (including drug) education to their pupils.

To relieve the suffering of horses, foals and ponies and in particular to provide and maintain a sanctuary for such unwanted animals and treat the sick or ill. To provide a good quality of life for our charges, and develop a role for them within the community, for the benefit of the wider public. We have a policy, where appropriate, to re-home suitable horses or ponies.

Provides accomodation, food and clothing to homeless people over the age of 18. Provides help with respect to the social welfare, managing finances, and help with claiming benefits and generally improving job skills and moving towards self contained living.

Providing sensory-based support for children, young people and adults with any form of disability or additional learning need or sensory impairmant. Supporting improvements with their social, mental and emotional, behavioural and educational development and overall well-being, and support to their parents and carers. Providing sensory facilities for support, leisure and recreation for all.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO SUCH CHARITIES AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG CHILDREN, THE CHURCH AND ANIMAL CHARITIES IN THE BLACKPOOL AND MORECAMBE AREAS OF LANCASHIRE AND IN PARTICULAR CERTAIN NAMED CHARITIES SET OUT IN CLAUSE 3 OF THE TRUST DEED DATED 1ST APRIL 2011.

We collect unwanted items such as wheelchairs and bikes and take them to prison workshops where they are restored.We then hand the restored items to partner charities for distribution to people in need who can not afford such articles.We then report to the prison workshops as to where the articles went and who benefitted.
