The 3R Foundation raises funds for local small charities, community groups and clubs in the North Lancashire and South Cumbria area through the 3R Charity shop in Carnforth

Namely to use all lawful means to prevent cruelty, promote kindness and alleviate suffering of animals;To carry out other Practical Animal Welfare services such as rehoming animals and providing Veterinary treatment in the Wigan, Leigh and District area. To conduct humane education. To operate a Charity Shop, the profits from which fund the above services.

To provide financial help and support to poor persons and the general community in the parishes of Chipping, Thornley with Wheatley and Leagram with Bowland. To maintain the two Almshouses and provide accommodation for poor persons of good character.

We provide low cost furniture and domestic appliances to disadvantaged people particularly in the areas of Burnley and Pendle.We provide work experience placements with accredited training for the long term unemployed and volunteers. We help to preserve the environment by reducing the volume of bulky furniture and appliance waste that would otherwise go to landfill.

Making a major, community led contribution to the social and economic regeneration of Rossendale by supporting and empowering local people to improve their health, well being and the overall quality of their lives within an ecological framework at Stubbylee Community Greenhouses. Provide opportunities for volunteering, training, personal mentoring and individual placements for social care.

The prevention or relief of poverty in the Wigan and Leigh area, in particular but not exclusively, by the provision of support, food and shelter to people who are homeless or individuals in need.

CLC ACADEMY-This is a project which delivers Islamic and other educational provisions by employing a fusion of modern and traditional teaching techniques.HIFZ PROGRAMME-A well structured Hifz (memorization of the Quran).ISLAMIC SCIENCES COURSE FOR MALES/FEMALES-These are full-part-time courses for adults which delivers a wide range of courses on Islam.

Glusburn Community and Arts Centre (GCAC) provides facilities for local organisations serving the local community in particular meeting the needs of children, the elderly and the disabled. The range of services includes dance, drama, fitness and sporting activities.Additionally GCAC organises events aimed at furthering the arts and providing entertainment for the local and wider community.
