At their Trustees meeting on 16/03/23 the Trustees approved a change to their objectives to read: Faith in the Community Fleetwood, exists to support the relief of poverty in Fleetwood by providing food parcels and other forms of support to improve the general well-being of all those accessing our services.

Cat Rescue Shelter, we take in stray & unwanted Cats, neuter, vaccinate and vet treat where applicable and re-home to suitable and responsible people.

To advance the Christian faith, holding Sunday and mid-week services. Youth group meeting for 11-16 yrs old on a Wednesday night. To relieve persons in conditions of need, hardship, aged or sick and other charitable purposes of community benefit. Holiday clubs 4-11 yrs old, Messy Church, Table top give away, Monthly coffee mornings. Missions to foreign countries for spiritual and practical needs.

We also encourage the reforestation of rural England, offering trees & information on self-sustainability. Book-Cycle works to benefit the local community; establishing projects to encourage self-reliance, engaging in global issues and facilities / workshops to promote art & culture.

education/training:The schools vision aims to help children have a full experience of childhood that can nourish and develop their innate capabilities, so that they become responsible, free individuals who think clearly, observe perceptively and act considerately.We encourage children to become independent and capable learners. This develops their innate capacities for wonder and imagination.

PHMG Foundation aims to raise money and generate awareness for charities to aid illness, disability, poverty and sickness.The public will directly benefit from every penny raised through the Foundation as it goes directly to a broad range of charities.

St John with St Philip provides weekly worship (in person and online), Alpha courses, social events and many other events serving the community of Nelson from its church building St John's Church Centre. It also operates St Philip's Centre (formerly Grassroots) which exists to offer hospitality, help and hope for people on the margins.

The centre's activities include trampolining, climbing, free running and is open in the evenings for the local community to participate and Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is also open at weekends for parties. During the daytime the centre is open for schools. Two of the local high schools use it for their GCSE curriculum. The centre is based off the main high street in the village.

The Friends of H.O.P.E funds the work of charities working in the Nilgiri Hills region of Tamil Nadu. and is principally engaged in relief of poverty and creating sustainable futures, whilst encouraging eco-restoration, bio-diversity, improving health,education/training. We also focus on culturally understanding the indigenous and poor communities in South India

Bury FC Community Trust delivers a number of football and sporting activities to provide a range of opportunities to improve health and fitness, develop educational opportunities and to engage hard to reach and excluded communities. We are a charity working in partnership with Hyndburn Borough Council , facilitating and supporting the Rhyddings Community Events Programme along with the opening and running of a community cafe in the park utilising produce grown in the kitchen garden.

For example we have a parent and toddler group for the public. We also provide space for Al-Anon for families who suffer through alcoholism. We provide counselling for bereavement,marriage or other traumatic events affecting people deleteriously.
