Crawshawbooth Pre-School is committed to providing quality care & education for children between the ages of 2 & 5 years.We aim to enhance the development & education of children under statutory school age in a parent involving, community based group.To provide a safe, secure & stimulating environment & to work within a framework which enables quality of opportunity for all children & families.

To provide annual income for specified charities, to approve grants to specified organisations and individuals for Works of Art and bursery awards connected with the profession of Architects and and discretionary grants approved by the Trustees.

We offer 24/7 emotional support by telephone, email, webchat and face to face to anyone who is in distress and despair including people who are feeling suicidal. We also do outreach work in schools and prisons and also have partnership with Network Rail.

Preservation and restoration of historic buses, principally originating with Ribble Motor Services plus related artefacts. Non-commercial operation of the restored vehicles in support of heritage groups and transport gatherings.

Children classes 5 days a week. Women gathering for general advise. Community cohesion i-e churches and mosques. Daily prayers and speeches on citizenship.

The memorial hall provides a meeting place for local organisations and a venue for social events. it is available for groups and individuals to hire for social and fund-raising events.

Vocational learning centre for 14-19 year old students in South Ribble and Chorley areas to provide training, mainly in construction related trades, so increasing recruitment to construction industry

We provide grants to individuals and organisations to assist in the relief of poverty, advance education and support other charitable objectives. The Charity provides a building to a local Charity to support its activities.

Management and maintenance of Yealand Village Hall which is available to all people living in the local communities.

The main activities of the Charity trustees and volunteers over the period May 2006 through to April 2007 has been fund-raising, to allow purchase of a suitable property in which to base the charity. This will then allow the charity to fulfil it's aspirations in providing high quality educational services to the Muslim community in Chorley and the surrounding areas.

Our main activity is to provide temporay accommodation / hospitalisation along with all necessary veterinary treatment to stray, unwanted and ill-treated cats and kittens until they are fit and healthy and ready to be re-homed.We also actively work with our Neuter Campaign. This work also includes welfare work and advice to the people that need our assistance.
