Churches Together in Lancashire operates through local groups across Lancashire. Groups promote unity through prayer, worship & community service. Activities include food banks, action against poverty, parish nursing, street pastors. Churches Together in Lancashire works collaboratively with Together Lancashire, Farming Community Network, local and County council, other faith groups.

Advancement of animal welfare by taking stray and abandoned cats off the streets of Preston andDistrict and improving their quality of life by providing them with food, shelter and veterinary care whilstseeking to find them permanent, caring homes

To raise money to be spent on additional resources for the children not covered by the school budget.

The provision of a one to one bereavement counselling service. Age range 18 years upwards. Who are resident in West Lancashire or have their doctor in that area.

The objects of the society shall be the study and performance of Operatic works, Musical comedies, Theatrical productions, etc. in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. Last year we performed Sweeney Todd which has recently been nominated for three NODA awards, including Best Show; Best Director & Best Actress.

The Village Hall Committee Charity provides a community service by maintaining the village hall for the use of local groups including elderly, youth groups, sports & health groups. Money raising events meet some of the costs of upkeep.

The Charity is run for the benefit of individuals & clubs in and around Aughton area.The Village Hall is available for hire by any individual (over the age of 18) or organisation, within the statement of standard hire agreement and scale of charges. Those charges are intended to meet all expenditure and to cover the repairs,renewals and maintenance of the hall.

To provide a home for the care of persons suffering from drug addiction

Feeding the homeless/needy.Setting up Prophetic sports for all ages and genders.Educational courses for all ages and genders covering the essential elements of the religion.Working in schools/colleges to help young Muslims understand, appreciate and practice their faith.

Working with school to raise money through events and activities in support of school projects.

Display of paintings and other works of art, changed on an monthly basis, the centre is open to the public Tuesday, Thursday (10am - 4pm) and Saturday mornings. The Arts Society premises are used for Local Authority classes in Painting and are used by the various member groups (Painting, Dancing, Choral, Music, Patchwork etc.) to carry out their activities.

To promote and preserve good mental health by providing therapeutic counselling and psychological well-being services exploring emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being to groups and individuals within the Lancashire, Shropshire and Mid Wales regions.

Achieve Potentials deliver a wide range of educational, cultural and sporting activities together with workforce training, including a range of training and engagement opportunities for disabled people, and for those involved in providing inclusive services. There are three key elements to our services provided: youth engagement, disability and inclusion and workforce development and training.

Services of worship (Sundays) Christian teaching of youth and young people (Sundays) Children's after school club, alpha course, home groups, community outreach.

The promotion and practice of the Christian faith by organising regular meetings for worship, teaching, community support, evangelism and prayer and by supporting other organisations who share similar aims. These objects will be carried out primarily in Bentham and surrounding areas.

Grant making to local organisations (especially other charities)

Kindness Counts UK provide anti bullying resources for our school's and the local communities within the Fylde Coast in reducing bullying, anti social behavior, mental health issues & young suicides. The resources we provide are for the well-being of our younger generations making a confident, kinder, generation. Our community hub will help CAMHS by providing counselling/sensory room&facilities

We provide free advice and guidance on benefits, legal advice related to housing repossessions, mortgage arrears, homelessness, health disabilities related to housing, debt advice, education on housing law and community training and development. Free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities and support other voluntary sector organisations.

We provide and maintain a meeting place for the local church, school, mother's union, young farmers, holiday club for young children with associated village green and play ground open to the public at large free of charge. The hall is available for hire for private and fund raising functions.
