Providing meeting and leisure activities for people with Learning Disabilities

Learning activities for the benefit of the community of Bolton through meetings, lectures, public celebration of Islamic festivals and distributing literature to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

General Charitable Purposes

The recreation room is run by the villagers for the adults and children in and around the parish of Aughton.Fundraising through a village show, Christmas and easter bingo, Jacobs joins, bonfire night, quiz night, cheese and wine evenings, dominoe drives, carpet bowling, badminton, table tennis, music lessons, childrens parties, social bar evenings, zumba, pancake day, etc.

Activities to promote religious harmony by fostering better relations between Muslims and non-Muslim communities, including the integration of the Muslims living on the Fylde Coast into the local community. We also aim to unite the Muslims living on the Fylde Coast under one organization. Fundraising for local charitable initiatives.

Providing entertainment within the garstang area for children

We are a Christian faith based charity fully devoted to winning souls for Christ and improving lives.

1. The advancement of the Christian religion as defined in the Scriptures;2. The purchase, repair and maintenance of accommodation for a person engaged in the work of Christ Church, Blackburn and his or her family;3. To enable that person to work in supporting the church's ministry to children and young people, parent and toddler groups and the general public and elderly groups.

Confidential one to one counselling services for the bereaved. This service includes specially trained counsellors for children and young persons, who are coming to terms with bereavement. Our service relies on volunteers, who are trained and operate within BACP guidelines.

Becconsall U3A provides educational and social activities for the retired and semi retired as defined by the University of the Third Age Trust in the areas of Hesketh Bank, Tarleton, Banks and surrounding villages.

The charity provides grants and scholarships for mainly young adults who specialise in academic studies.

Performance of classical, choral and sacred music both in concerts and religious services

We operate a campsite (at Radcliffe in Greater Manchester) which is used by Scout groups and a wide range of community organisations.

We are a Community Hall serving the villages of Borwick and Priest Hutton and a wider catchment in North Lancashire.

We finance and organise activities to help maintain and improve Towneley Park, and which will encourage more people to visit and enjoy the park. We have a gardening club; craft club; bird feeding programme; mobility scooters on loan; himalayan balsam picking projects with school children; and 6 special events. We have had a play area built and had benches installed across the park.

TO RAISE FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF THE SCHOOL

(a) to advance the education of the public in the study of genealogy, heraldry and family history.(b) to locate, publish and make accessible relevant documents and records.(c) to promote the preservation of such documents and records, particularly by transcription of original sources(d) to operate its own information service and build up a library

NWTCA plays an integral role in bringing the Turkish-British community together in the North West of England.Turkish lessons for children and adults.Turkish Community Choir. Celebrating National/Cultural festivals. Promoting Turkish arts, culture and heritage. Participating in Manchester Day Celebration, Gallipoli Commemoration Service, Sing Turkish Events, Women's Club, Children's Festival.

To further general & specific education and interest in the arts by lectures and special interest days and by visits. Arts Volunteering: the society provides finance to encourage participation in art projects. Heritage Volunteers: provide help at local museums to maintain the artefacts. Trails of Discovery: create trails for children to use in local churches,

The preparation, promotion & presentation of concerts and other charitable musical activities.

Our current activities are music & dancing, youth clubs, arts and drama, choir practices, musical education, health education, drug and alcohol counselling, providing housing for those affected by alcohol and drugs.

To promote interest in the cultivation of the Chrysanthemum and horticulture in general in Southport and District by the holding of meetings, lectures, discussions, flower shows and exhibitions and by other means which may from time to time be considered desirable.

THE CORE ACTIVITY OF THE FILLIES GFC IS FOOTBALL FOR GIRLS. WE PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG FEMALES TO ACCESS LOCAL FACILITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN FOOTBALL TRAINING SESSIONS AND COMPETE IN COMPETITIVE LEAGUE AND CUP FOOTBALL THROUGHOUT LANCASHIRE.THE CLUB IS FAMILY ORIENTATED AND PROVIDES HEALTHY LIVING INFORMATION, PROJECTS AND EXERCISE FOR ALL FEMALE FAMILY MEMBERS.
