Wings of refuge is a christian organisation set up with the purpose of providing hands on support to predominantly lower socio-economic individuals and disadvantaged families. The Trust raises funds for the support of the running costs of a school for deaf children, a day care centre for disabled children and a Nursing Training College in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu District, South India. We operate one Club in South Leeds (working title Trinity Network) which provides opportunities for friendship, social interaction and making people feel safe in warm and pleasant environments. We also provide a hot meal service for our members.

WHARFEDALE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY PROMOTES FARMING AND AGRICULTURE AT AN ANNUAL SHOW. EXHIBITS INCLUDE CATTLE, SHEEP, GOATS, HORSES, DOGS, RABBITS, POULTRY, PRODUCE, HANDICRAFTS & YOUNG FARMERS CLASSES. THIS IS THE OLDEST ONE DAY AGRICULTURAL SHOW IN THE COUNTRY WITH AN AVERAGE ATTENDANCE OF BETWEEN 12-15000.
