We support the well-being of the Dales. Activities range from conserving the environmental and heritage features making up the landscape to issues as diverse as countryside apprenticeships, supporting local communities, and encouraging sustainable development. Social exclusion, education, and engaging communities in nearby conurbations with the Dales have become a real focus.

Carers Leeds is an independent charity that gives support, advice and information to unpaid carers aged over 16. Established in 1996, our team of expert support workers are dedicated to improving the lives of the 72,000 carers in Leeds. We deliver confidential one to one and group support in Leeds city centre, local communities, over the phone and on-line.

We actively promote the prevention, recognition and treatment associated to use and misuse of substances including alcohol, drugs and gambling. We advance Education, promote Social Inclusion and Community Capacity and provide relief from disadvantage, preserving and protecting Health and Wellbeing.

The principle activity is to advance the employability and relieve those in need for the public benefit. In particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the Charity raises funds, provides resources, employment opportunities and facilities to young people with autistic condition and learning difficulties in the wider community.
