Friends of Collingham School engages in activities throughout the year, to develop and enhance effective relationships, between staff, parents, children and other groups associated with the school, whilst raising funds. These funds are then used for the advancement of the pupils within the school.

Over the year we have raised the profile of world music, in both the rural areas of North and South Craven (Skipton and Settle) as well as the urban conurbations of Leeds and Bradford, through concerts in Settle Victoria Hall, The Delius Centre in Bradford and Seven arts in Leeds, as well as playing at Village Fetes and Community Centres.

The orchestra consisting of mostly amateur players provides concerts to the general public and gives young local soloists opportunities to perform in front of an audience. Members include students as well as players in full time employment and is open to new members in the region who can play a classical instrument with an interest in classical music.

The objects of the Rotary Club of Calverley Charitable Trust Fund are:The prevention or relief of poverty for the public benefit;The advancement of education, citizenship and community development;The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health or disability_the objects will principally be for the public benefit in West Yorkshire but may extend worldwide according to need

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation and restoration of the wildlife and wildlife habitats of Otley and surrounding area, in addition to progressing Otley's nature recovery plan.To advance the education and appreciation of the public regarding the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. We aim toachieve this by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership

Supporting the education and welfare of pupils at Allerton Bywater Primary School.

To provide facilities and group activities for artists and crafts people of all ages within the Leeds District.

St Johns Home & School Association is generally run by Parents and carers of Children within school.It arranges various fund raising activities throughout the year to help raise extra funds to buy materials and equipment for use of the whole school comunity.

FKAP work with the community to make the Park a better, safer, more sustainable space.

To provide welfare to serving and ex-serving Air Force people and their dependants

Culture programme for the community ie Diwali programme at a local hired hall and have all the community can get to gather and have meal

To promote beekeeping through education and training for the benefit of the environment and mankind because of the important role of bees in the production of food. Children/young people, people with disabilities and special needs and other charities/voluntary bodies are also beneficiaries.

The Orchard Garden is held in trust for the purposes of a recreation ground for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of Collingham and Linton.

We are a parent teachers association known at Friends of Holy Name, raising money to support the educational activities of Holy Name Catholic Voluntary Academy, Leeds, LS16 6NF.

FORP's activities are advancing the education of pupils in the school by:1. Developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school2. Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of pupils

Fundraising through school fairs, DVD production, discos, bun sales and quiz nights

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 1st Collingham Scout Group give young people of Collingham and surrounding villages the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

LEAP enables students [14 to 19] to set up their own companies for a year, learning business skills, teamwork and problem solving. The programme helps them gain confidence and skills, which helps them with interviews for jobs and/or University. LEAP is run by volunteers from schools and local businesses.
