The Trust provides and maintains gospel halls for the religious activities of Christians often referred to as 'Brethren'. Details of the origins, teachings and way of life of the Brethren can be found on their website - www.plymouthbrethrenchristianchurch.org. Meetings held at these gospel halls include the Lord's Supper (Communion), Gospel preachings, Bible readings and Bible addresses.

To promote the safety of the public, and in particular to encourage an interest in road safety, and improving the standard of driving and riding, with particular emphasis on young people, in Yorkshire.

People Matters creates opportunities for local people including those with disabilities to be more independent and enjoy life in the same ways, and in the same places, as anybody else.

Axis SL Provides properties and support to high risk but vulnerable ex offenders leaving prison by working closely with Landlords, Probation, Police and Housing Benefit in Leeds. We enable ex offenders to access decent, affordable accommodation and provide tenancy support to prevent needless homelessness and Recall to Prison which is crucial to breaking the cycle of prison's "revolving door".

The charity's principal activity is the protection and preservation of good health by promoting the safety and wellbeing of sex workers and those who are, have or could be at risk of exploitation by the provision of advocacy services that offer choice, support and empowerment to those people.

WCTS supports mental health and emotional wellbeing of women in Leeds prioritising those on low income and those who struggle to access or engage with statutory services. Core activities: provision of individual and group counselling and psychotherapy in a women's service; peer support; partnerships with other services; contributing to a co-ordinated approach to service delivery to women.

Leeds Mencap aims to improve the the lives of children and young people with learning disabilities and their families through a range of projects.

Yorkshire Dance champions the value of dance and its development in Yorkshire. We raise standards, increase understanding around dance and its impact and foster creativity and innovation. We support talent development, facilitate programmes of community dance for underrepresented groups which address critical issues in health, community cohesion and social isolation and provide sector leadership.

The Big Issue North Trust supports the homeless and vulnerably housed people who sell Big Issue North magazine in the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. From providing financial aid during periods of hardship, to funding education and training courses, to projects such as breakfast clubs and home furnishing packages, it exists to help vendors to change their lives and achieve their goals.

TRC provides running & fitness-based initiatives to homeless and disadvantaged young people aged 16-24, using the great value of sport as a catalyst for proactive and productive social change. By providing them with the means to participate in healthy recreation and with access to support services to relieve their needs and assist them to integrate into society.

The aim of SLATE is to run charity activities in inner city south Leeds for the social, environmental and economic benefit of the people of the area and of providing work opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

Provision of youth work and support for volunteer and voluntary sector youth workers. Promotion and advocacy of young people's participation. Provision of information, advice and guidance for young people.

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is the official charity and community arm of Yorkshire County Cricket Club. Using the power of cricket, the foundation aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire. Focusing on four themes of Education, Health & Wellbeing, Heritage and Participation, using the brand of Yorkshire Cricket to affect communities all over Yorkshire.

The charities activities are to support people who live or work in the Metroploitan District of Leeds, including rural areas, who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse and to work with other agencies within the community to raise awareness of the issues of domestic abuse.
