We are a community based organisation working with community and church organisations, schools, local authority music services, private music teachers, singing and choral societies to provide opportunities for public performances and to enhance life-style opportunities for all ages through the Arts and especially music making. Our activities are centred on Bridlington and the surrounding villages.

For the relief of poor persons resident in Pudsey Township with a preference for poor householders either in gifts in kind or grants of money: Provided that income shall not be applied directly in relief of rates, taxes or other public funds but may be applied in supplementing relief or assistance provided out of public funds.

Promote the education of children attending schools situate in Pudsey Township either by providing special benefits for such not ordinarily provided by the local education authority or in such other manner as the Trustees shall from time to time think fit.

To promote and encourage the musical education of the boys and girls of the Leeds Parish Church Choirs by providing grants to deserving choristers.

Helping Aid will offer services to the wider community that will include running classes in particular subjects for community individuals who need to develop their language and literacy skills- Providing after school clubs in specific subjects that include Maths, English and Science.- Providing food on a regular and organised basis to local community.- Education opportunities to community

The Trust aims to recruit candidates who would not easily access the existing Media training courses available and provide financial support over a given period. We will also provide a range of work placements and mentoring sessions that would give them a chance to learn valuable and marketable skills, with the hope that this would then lead to full time employment within the Media Industry.

The relief of poverty by the provision of clothing & other goods at low cost to people in need & (as an equal principal object) the promotion of any general charitable purposes in the City of Leeds &, in particular by means of the realisation for cash of donations in kind made to the Trust, & the application thereof for charitable purposes.

We have social meetings every Thursday evening at Chickenley Community Centre, Chickenley, Dewsbury from 6pm to 8.30pm and swimming sessions every Tuesday at Batley Baths from 7 - 8pm. We arrange outings and have an annual outing to various places within a suitable travel distance with a meal afterwards. We hold events during the year as well as Xmas parties and Birthday parites.
