Housing for retired old age pensioners

South Leicestershire District Scouts specifically enables young people, in partnership with adults, to worktogether based on the values of Scouting: to develop and gain the skills for life, by learning, sharing and doing more. So that, together and individually, they can be more.

The main activities in relation to the charitable objects are:a. providing facilities to groups who have the primary aims of advancing education, advancing the christian religion and giving help to the less well off;b. providing facilities for Christian education holidays, e.g. camping, holiday clubs and sport / leisure events;c. assisting local Christian groups with pastoral and event needs

The church advances the Christian faith via its services and groups which meet throughout the week. At its services the church gives time to the preaching of the Bible and the central Christian tenets of faith. During the week the church has many sub groups which meet to study the bible and to have fellowship. These are open to all who arewilling to attend.

The Mutts Nutts Rescue are based in Stamford, Lincolnshire and they operate in this area (which includes Rutland, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire) helping the local elderly and acutely or terminally ill members of the community with their pets when they can no longer manage alone

After18 is a Leicester based charity which provides one to one support to unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young adults to adjust to life in the UK. We also provide a supplementary school, vulnerable women's group and an arts programme.

We provide mid-month health and well-being activities, for example, walks to local venues like art galleries, museums, parks, and gardens, nature reserves, etc. At the end of the month, we provide a craft workshop & IT advice and guidance. During the week there are lunchtime meetings and arranged 1:1 sessions. We provide 2 online zoom workshops in the evenings and a WhatsApp closed group.

THE PRE SCHOOL IS BASED IN LEICESTER IN THE EVINGTON AREA, IT IS RAN IN A CHURCH HALL

Grant scholarships or bursaries to and train musicians, choristers and choirs to help them progress in their music training and experience; provide grants to support the salaries of staff in the music department; provide and maintain music, musical instruments etc. used for music within the Cathedral; provide musical and choral education in schools, churches and the community.

We are a multi-cultural church in the city of Leicester aiming to serve our community to the best of our ability. As we are just starting, our programmes to be implemented will include various age groups from new born babies to the elderly. More activities will be implemented as and when we have more volunteers coming in and willing to be part of the church.

Applicants for further education grants must reside in Claybrooke Magna, Claybrooke Parva, Ullesthorpe or Wibtoft and be under 24 years. There are grants for pupils, resident in these villages, to help them move from primary schools to Upper Schools. Grants are made to Ullesthorpe and Claybrooke Parva schools for education projects. All these grants are subject to the income of the charity.

Christian church. Regular services and activities are organised for all age groups plus occasional events. These are all for the promotion of the Christian faith in the Wigston area, teaching & supporting those who are already Christians and introducing and explaining the faith to those who are not.

To establish and maintain a museum for the benefit of the public for the preservation, display and public experience of computer and console systems from the 1960?s onwards

Providing equipment and other items, services and facilities for Christ Church and St Peters Church of England School and thereby advancing education. In promoting the education of persons under the age of 25 years who are pupils or former pupils of the above school and/or have been or have a parent or guardian who has been resident in the Parish of Mountsorrel for at least 12 months.

Receive donations from over 91 Lions Clubs in South Wales, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, West Midlands, Leicestershire, Rutland, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, parts of Wiltshire and Somerset and distribute the funds for Local, National and International charitable purposes.

PROVIDE EMERGENCY RELIEF TO THE MOST AFFECTED PEOPLE IN ERITREA, ERITREAN REFUGEES IN THE SUDAN, ETHIOPIA AND OTHER NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES WE SETUP BASIC EDUCATION, SANITATION AND CONTRIBUTE TO EASE THE ORDEAL OF ORPHANS.

To assist members of the Pakistani and other minority ethnic individuals to develop themselves in order to better participate in mainstream society.We effort to:1. provide for social, educational and cultural needs2. offer social, recreational and cultural programmes3. offer information, advice & guidance in employment and careers4. advocate for the needs of the community

To help the elderly, vulnerable and those on low income in Market Harborough and the Bowdens;To help in relieving misfortune and ill-health for local people;To help in improving the conditions of life for local people, with particular emphasis on social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation; andTo help in providing and supporting educational facilities

Our activities are based around the education of the public in transport heritage generally, particularly in the Nottingham conurbation through preserving for posterity a collection of passenger service vehicles and associated artefacts. In August 2015 we leased a period bus garage in Hucknall to develop into a transport museum . We aim to engage all areas of the local community in our work.

To provide counselling, therapy and associated holistic support services including advocacy for individuals and family groups, including children who have experienced traumatic life events such as bereavement, grief or loss, anyone subjected to domestic abuse or experiencing emotional distress. We provide training for professionals to enhance understanding of trauma and trauma informed approach.
